Hyundai Accent 1.4 Gets an Engine Upgrade

Can Hyundai’s fuel-efficient vehicles get any better? They surely can.

Experience the new Accent 1.4L M/T with an engine and transmission upgrade that promises smoother acceleration and enhanced fuel frugality.

Compared to the former 1.4L Gamma Single-Continuously Variable Valve Timing (S-CVVT) engine, the Dual-CVVT thoroughly optimizes the new 1.4L Kappa engine’s power of 100 PS at 6,000 rpm and torque of 133 Nm at 4,000rpm for significant improvement in overtaking performance.

Even more intelligent than before, not only can the intake valves be open at 10, 20, 30 to 100% to give the engine the right amount of air and fuel mixture for optimum combustion; the exhaust valves are likewise programmed to efficiently expel the combusted gas, thus maximizing each succeeding air-fuel ignition for more efficient performance and greater fuel economy.

Mated to 6-speed Manual Transmission, from the 5-speed MT of the previous model, the extra gear offers you the fuel-saving flexibility to shift to higher gears to keep the engine at lower RPMs during spirited drives.  From laidback city cruising to the heady rush of long-distance driving on open highways, one can keep the engine at optimal RPM without having to worry about the fuel spent.

And now, from June 12 to 30, it’s easy to own a new Hyundai Accent with any of the following “Hyundai Financing Advantage” packages:

  • P40,000 DISCOUNT on the cash purchase of the 1.4L K-DCVVT GL M/T and the 1.4L CVVT GL A/T
  • Only P25,751 monthly amortization for the 1.4L K-DCVVT GL M/T or P29,501 monthly amortization for the 1.4L CVVT GL A/T at ZERO % Interest (50% down @ 12-month payment scheme)
  • LOW DOWN PAYMENT as low as P88,000 for the 1.4L K-DCVVT GL M/T
  • Or Low Monthly Amortization of only P6,513 for the 1.4L K-DCVVT GL M/T at 50% down & 60 months to pay.
