The award-winning Mazda3 builds on its engaging driving dynamics and sophisticated design with new comfort and connectivity features for 2024. The updates are part of Mazda Philippines’ promise of offering the latest human-centric technologies that promote Mazda’s central tenet of Jinba-ittai while also reinforcing its status as the most fully-loaded car in the market today.
Updates to the 2024 Mazda3 include a new larger Mazda Connect infotainment screen that has grown from 8 to 10.25 inches allowing for clearer, crisper graphics. Connectivity has also been improved thanks to the inclusion of Wireless Apple CarPlay, dual USB-C ports, and a wireless charger. The interior also gets new chrome accents on the start/stop button ring, steering wheel horn pad, and glove box handle.
For 2024, the 18-inch alloy wheels receive new colors for the Sport with the Mazda3 Sedan adopting a Bright Silver finish, while the Mazda3 Fastback getting a Black Metallic finish. There are seven colors: Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Platinum Quartz, Snowflake White Pearl, Polymetal Gray, Deep Crystal Blue, and Jet Black.
The entry-level 2024 Mazda3 Sport adds an Adaptive Front-Lighting System (AFS) to its LED headlights. Other exterior changes include LED daytime running lights and the adoption of the LED signature rear illumination. For added safety, the Mazda3 Sport adds Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Powering the Mazda3 Sport is Mazda’s 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine generating 155 PS at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This is mated to a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters, cruise control, and Sport mode.
Meanwhile, the Mazda3 HEV’s 2024 improvements make it the safest compact car available in the market. It adds Front Cross Traffic Alert, Front Cross Brake Support, Rear Cross Brake Support, and the Driver Monitoring System on top of the 360-degree camera, and parking sensors on all corners.
The Mazda3 HEV’s 2.0-liter e-Skyactiv-G pairs the 2.0-liter engine with a compact electric motor and lightweight lithium-ion battery. The Mazda M Hybrid system’s 24-volt Hybrid System improves off-the-line acceleration, while reducing the engine’s load for increased fuel efficiency.

ReplyDeleteStill pleased with my 2020 Mazda 3 premium after 4 years. Only issue so far is the break squeal noise during very slow speeds when the car is dirty for some reason. Does not affect breaking performance anyway.
ReplyDeleteOn my car, both of the rear brakes make a very loud squeaking. I found that applying grease to the INSIDE rear roater eliminates the noise.

Mazda 3 Sport got incomplete ADAS (no AEB and no 360 Cam) that's why its not selling well

ADAS is overrated. Its for noobs. Ive been driving cars for 15 years without ADAS and its been fine so far.

Really nice car but confusing marketing strategy. Mazda wants to go upscale but often I theier cars displayed at not so nice malls with very low down sold alongside commercial vehicles from other brands. Mazda should just be Mazda

Mazda Philippines isn't a fully premium brand yet as they still sell vehicles at below 2 Million Peso range and their most expensive product isn't at the 4 Million Peso price range yet.
Chose a Mazda since I want something nicer than a Toyota/Honda/Hyundai but don't want to pay twice for a similar product(Lexus) nor deal with the unreliability of German marques.

DeleteNot to be rude, but a Mazda isn't similar to Lexus. You definitely need to ride a Lexus to experience first hand how refined it is. Even the new Mazda CX-90 isn't on par with a Lexus. I test drove the CX-90 while in the US last year, comparing it to my relative's Lexus RX. While the CX-90 drove great, with some hints of jerkiness from its transmission, it just didn't ride great. I was shocked to learn that it didn't come with air suspensions, even at its top of the line trim. What a missed opportunity on Mazda's part.

you don't see a Lexus being sold at the lobby of a gaisano mall. but I saw a mazda 3 and bt50 being sold there. there was also a mirage and an xpander. ok naman Mazda 3 but please a Lexus that is a stretch. even if you are a Mazda owner it is cringey to think you are at par with luxury brands.

Just because it shares the same platform does not negate it being premium. NVH, materials used, drivetrain, and the parts used to make it a comfortable experience is what set these cars apart from mass market brands like mazda

DeleteAlthough yes a Lexus is reliable, its still more expensive to maintain, parts are harder to find. Also less fuel economy, which mazda 3 buyers are surely prioritizing over performance.
