Autohub Formalizes Zeekr PH Distributorship; Reveals Launch Line-Up

The Autohub Group has confirmed the initial line-up for its premium all-electric Zeekr brand. The partnership was sealed during the Autohub Group’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

“We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with the Autohub Group,” says Chen Yu, Vice President at Zeekr. “The Philippines represents a key market for Zeekr, and we believe that the Autohub Group’s strong market presence and commitment to sustainability make them the perfect partner to help us bring our innovative products to Filipino customers.”

The Autohub Group will bring in the Zeekr 001 Standard, Zeekr 001 Flagship, Zeekr X Premium, and Zeekr X Flagship by mid-2024. By the third quarter, the Zeekr 009 will join the line-up.

“We are excited about the opportunities that this distributorship agreement brings,” states Willy Tee Ten, President of the Autohub Group. “Zeekr’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle technology aligns perfectly with our mission to provide forward-thinking and sustainable mobility solutions to the Filipino market. Together, we are poised to make a significant impact on the automotive landscape in the Philippines.”

As previously reported, the Autohub Group will start pre-sales and deliveries by the second quarter. Their first dealership, dubbed Zeekr Space, will be opened by the first half of 2024 and will be “located in Manila’s business and financial center area.”

  1. Zeekr vs BYD a good fight to watch, both are good. No point for AC motors to bring here VW EV's, it wont be able to compete with Z n BYd. VW EV's already dead b4 it could arrived.

    2. Zeekr isn't a rival of BYD as the EVs of Zeekr are way more expensive 😂
BYD mainly competes with the Jetour,Chery,BAW and Geely Geometry EVs.
Volkswagen EVs are still sellable in the Philippine market.

    1. Zeekr is not an unknown brand, it's quite new yes, but is quite popular and one of the stronger Chinese EV brands. Like the Lynk & Co, it is part of the Geely Group. It's positioned as a higher-end brand than Geely.
