Geely Motor Philippines Corporation has announced a recall for specific Geely Emgrand units for a potential fuel leak.
The carmaker has determined that due to insufficient ventilation of the fuel filler cap, it could create a vacuum in the fuel tank, and in rare cases, lead to tank deformation and leakage.
Geely says that the service campaign covers 562 affected units produced between August 3, 2023, and July 4, 2025.
Customers may avail of a free inspection and, if necessary, repair or replacement of fuel components at any authorized Geely dealership. This service campaign will run until August 2028.
While customers will be notified directly, they are encouraged to confirm if their unit is included by contacting their nearest Geely dealer or emailing customercare.ph [at] geely.com.
