Lexus Unveils Wild, Be-Winged 425-Horsepower RZ 600e F Sport Performance

Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, Lexus has unveiled a wild, double be-winged version of its all-electric EV SUV, the Lexus RZ: the Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance.

The name, which is certainly a mouthful, transforms the luxury-oriented Lexus RZ into a sporty SUV. With 425.5 horsepower (313 kW) at its disposal (227 horsepower at the front and rear axles), the Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance does the century sprint in 4.4 seconds. The 76.96 kWh battery, meanwhile, helps deliver a range of 525 kilometers. The Interactive Manual Drive also provides simulated gear shifts and engine sounds.

Based on the RZ 550e F Sport which was launched early this year, the RZ 600e F Sport Performance has heightened levels of aero and handling performance to go with the added power.

The overall height has been reduced by 20 mm delivering a more stable and “confidence-inspiring” performance. New 20-inch brake rotors with six-piston calipers also offer enhanced braking power. A unique steering wheel designed for the Steer-by-Wire system provides a more engaging and “satisfying” driving experience.

Outside, the RZ 600e F Sport Performance features a two-tier carbon wing—one on the roof and another on the rear trailing edge as well as special carbon turning vanes (front and back) and matte black 21-inch Enkei alloy wheels. Other exterior changes include more carbon goodies—hood bulge, roof, and headlamp bezels, as well as enlarged arch moldings and more aggressive side skirts.

Inside, it receives new sport bucket seats covered in Ultrasuede with blue contrast stitching. The same Ultrasuede material is found on the doors, while blue accents also appear on the instrument panel and dial-type shifter.

  3. With Lexus launching a F-Sport Performance product like this RZ 600e, I wouldn't be surprised if Toyota will launch a GR bZ4X in the near future.

    1. Toyota wants to be "not boring" and that mentality extends to Lexus. They're even letting Lexus being more experimental with designs since Century is now the main luxury brand.

    2. Century brand is considered as an ultra-luxury brand like Bentley, and Rolls Royce, among others. Lexus is still considered as luxury.
