Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc. is providing clarity following recent reports of a vehicle recall involving certain Subaru hybrid models in North America. After direct verification with Subaru Corporation, Motor Image Group confirms that Subaru vehicles distributed within its markets, including the Philippines, are not affected by this recall campaign.
The recall in question pertains specifically to a fuel system component developed exclusively for vehicles produced for the North American market. To comply with local environmental regulations, North American-specification vehicles are equipped with a specialized sealed fuel system.
Subaru Corporation has confirmed that the fuel system component identified in the North American recall is not utilized in vehicles distributed by Motor Image Group. Vehicles sold in the Group’s markets are engineered to meet local regulatory and environmental standards and therefore carry different technical specifications.
As such, the conditions cited in the North American recall do not exist in Subaru vehicles distributed by Motor Image Group. Consequently, these vehicles remain unaffected.
Customers can be assured that Subaru vehicles sold in Motor Image Group markets fully comply with all applicable local safety and environmental regulations. Owners may continue to drive and refuel their vehicles with complete confidence.
Motor Image Group markets are not subject to this recall, and no action is required from owners within these regions.

Of course it doesn't recall cars being sold in ph, the recall sometimes is dependent on each country consumer law, ph? Nah, forget about it.
