San Miguel Corporation (SMC) has reached its target 156 RFID stations last December 29, following through on an earlier commitment to open more Autosweep RFID installation stations in more locations before the end of December—particularly in “offsite” areas away from its southern expressways to reach more motorists.

(MPTC) subsidiary EasyTrip Services Corporation which revealed that they are in talks with major car brands to pre-install RFID tags in line with the government’s shift to full electronic toll collection on expressways.
