Toyota Motor Philippines Preview One-Make Vios Racing Series


Last August 17, 2013, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) gave a preview of heart-racing fun piloted by the All-New Vios at the recently held World of Toyota Motor Show. Focused on waku-doki , which is FUN in Japanese, some of the Philippines’ most exciting stars gathered to #startthefun at the World Trade Center by driving the country’s no. 1 selling car!  Celebrities like Rhian Ramos, Aljur Abrenica, Sam YG and Phoemela Barranda were just a few of the many personalities who drove the all-new fun machine!

Kicked off at the recently concluded 9-day World of Toyota Motor Show, celebrities were immersed in true waku-doki  style with the All-New Vios. Dubbed as the “Waku-Doki Fun Drive,” 30 stars underwent several driving challenges in order to be qualified for the Vios One Make Race (OMR) Exhibition in October. Raving fans and gearheads all witnessed and cheered for their favorite personalities as they face the simulator test and actual Vios Test drive showing their proficiency in driving. Truly, this Vios OMR aims to give the public a different driving experience beyond one’s daily roads.

Furthermore, other fan favorites like Bianca King, Mark Herras, Fabio Ide and Kris Bernal all drove and started the fun with the hope of being the first celebrity Vios One Make Race champion. Immediately after these exciting activities, visitors of the said Motor Show also got a chance to meet and greet these stars. Truly, this Waku-Doki experience was not just fun for the celebrities who joined but also for the visitors who were at the Motor Show.
