Ford Philippines has announced at its sprawling 1,000-square meter pavilion that deliveries of its segment-busting SUV, the EcoSport has begun. The EcoSport is no stranger to us having been previewed with a Media Launch in January and a Regional Ride and Drive in March. The EcoSport is just one of 15 vehicles showcased by Ford at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) and shows the brand’s commitment in delivering class-leading One Ford vehicles.

“The Manila International Auto Show is the perfect venue to showcase our latest segment-leading global Ford vehicles to customers in the Philippines. The all-new Ford EcoSport will further expand our showroom and help continue introducing the Ford brand to even more customers in new vehicle segments,” said Kay Hart, Managing Director of Ford Philippines.

At the same time, Hart announced the continued stratospheric rise of Ford in the Philippines with continuous record-breaking months from January to March 2014. This is led by products such as the Ford Ranger which has sold more than 13,000 units since its launch as well as the new Fiesta, Explorer, and Mustang.

To cap off the launch of the EcoSport, Ford has also announced the grand prize winner of its EcoSport Urban Discoveries campaign. EcoSport Urban Discoveries ambassadors Bogart the Explorer and Petra Mahalimuyak were on hand to award the campaign’s winner.

“We are pleased to award Jake Señeres with this one-of-a-kind adventure with the all-new Ford EcoSport.
