Review: 2026 Hyundai Venue GLS 1.6 AT

The Hyundai Venue has had a very interesting history in the Philippines so far. The nameplate was introduced in 2020 as the last model sold under Hyundai’s former distributor. However, before it could gain widespread attention (the small crossover segment was starting to boom at the time), it was basically flushed out of showrooms before the Koreans took over. So, who would have thought that five years on, it’ll make a comeback more or less unchanged.

The Kia Sonet Remains Enticing Despite The Fuel Prices

What I like about this job is that I learn things on my own. This time, I found out driving pleasure and fun to drive are two different things. The former can be had with a Mazda MX-5, but you don’t have to go that expensive to have fun. Some cars are just plain fun to drive, like this Kia Sonet SX.

Review: 2026 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid SGX

Suzuki, both here and abroad, has made a name for itself making cheap, reliable, small cars. Their expertise in this field meant that they’re more or less been shielded by the onslaught of Chinese offerings. However, every once in a while, they’d offer something a bit leftfield. In the past few years, there has been the SX4, the Kizashi, and the Grand Vitara (which includes its 7-seater derivative, the OG XL7). The latest one to join that list is the Fronx. It’s their latest corporate experiment move upmarket, only it’s worthy of consideration.
