The Chery Tiggo 2 Pro Is Now Known As The Tiggo Touring

Chery Auto Philippines continues to move away from its numeric nomenclature, at least for the Philippine market. After the launch of the Tiggo Cross (formerly Tiggo 5x), Tiggo Grand Tour (formerly the Tiggo 8), and the Tiggo rEV C-DM (known globally as the Tiggo 9), the automaker has now re-branded the Tiggo 2 Pro as the Tiggo Touring for 2026.

As the company’s entry-level offering, the Tiggo Touring comes with a very low starting price of just P 698,000 for the manual transmission. A two-pedal variant, with a CVT, is also available for P 818,000. Both have cruise control.

The Tiggo Touring comes with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine making 113 horsepower at 6,150 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The CVT variant is also equipped with two driver selectable modes—Eco and Sport.

Standard features on both variants include halogen projector headlights, satin-silver roof rails, and 16-inch gun metallic alloy wheels. Inside, it has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display, an analog instrument cluster with a 3.5-inch multi-info display, and leather/fabric combo seats. The CVT adds the convenience of a smart keyless entry with push start and a wireless charger.

In terms of safety, the Tiggo Touring comes with 4 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control with hill start assist and hill descent control, and a reverse camera.

The Tiggo Touring comes in three colors: White, Red, and Silver and carry a standard 5-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty and 3-year free roadside assistance.

For a limited time, the Tiggo Touring will have a P 50,000 discount, bring down the Tiggo Touring CVT’s SRP to just P 768,000.
