Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) once again affirmed its leadership in the local commercial vehicle industry after retaining its position as the country’s No. 1 truck brand for the 26th consecutive year, highlighting its long-standing commitment to supporting Filipino businesses with durable products, dependable service, and total business solutions.
Based on consolidated sales reports from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA), IPC closed 2025 with 4,794 truck units sold, capturing a commanding 42.2 percent market share. This represents a 4.4 percent year-on-year sales growth, further strengthening Isuzu’s dominance in the highly competitive truck market.
In addition to leading overall truck sales, IPC once again secured the industry-coveted Triple Crown, topping sales across Category III, IV, and V segments – spanning from light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks. This achievement highlights Isuzu’s balanced product portfolio and its ability to serve diverse industries, from small enterprises to large-scale logistics and infrastructure operations.
“Maintaining our position as the country’s leading truck brand for 26 consecutive years and achieving another Triple Crown reflect the deep trust Filipino customers place in Isuzu. This trust is earned not only through product reliability, but through our commitment to providing a complete ownership experience before, during, and long after the sale,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui.
IPC continued its 27-year leadership in Category III, selling 2,814 units and securing a 41.5 percent market share. Central to this success is the Isuzu N-Series, the country’s most trusted light-duty truck, widely used in logistics, retail distribution, and construction. Its proven durability, fuel-efficient yet powerful engine, and driver-focused ergonomics make it a dependable partner for daily operations. The availability of Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) further enhances ease of driving in congested urban environments while improving overall productivity.
In Category IV, IPC recorded 1,647 units sold, translating to a 44.6 percent market share and a 7 percent increase versus 2024. The Isuzu F-Series continues to be the preferred choice for expanding sectors such as logistics, cold chain, and industrial transport, where reliability, payload capability, and operational efficiency are critical.
Meanwhile, IPC led Category V with 333 units sold, a 36 percent year-on-year growth, and a 37.5 percent market share. Demand in this segment was driven by the Isuzu S- and E-Series, widely utilized in large-scale logistics and government-led infrastructure projects. These models feature robust chassis construction, high payload capacity, and advanced safety technologies such as Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and an enhanced Driver Coaching Instrument Cluster, designed to improve safety, fuel efficiency, and driver performance.
IPC attributes its sustained market leadership not only to product strength, but to its industry-leading aftersales ecosystem known as the Isuzu Advantage, comprehensive support system designed to keep customers’ businesses moving efficiently and profitably.
This advantage is anchored on IPC’s nationwide dealer network, extensive parts availability across the country, and specialized services such as Isuzu Mobile Medic, which delivers on-site diagnostics and maintenance to minimize downtime. Complementing this is IPC’s deployment of expert truck engineers who provide technical assistance, fleet consultation, and support for specialized body applications.
IPC also places strong emphasis on fleet driver and mechanic training programs, promoting safe, fuel-efficient, and cost-effective operations. These initiatives help customers maximize vehicle uptime, extend vehicle life cycles, and manage total cost of ownership, key factors in sustaining business growth.
As IPC looks toward 2026 and beyond, the company remains optimistic about sustained growth in the truck market, driven by infrastructure development, logistics expansion, and evolving business needs nationwide. Building on its solid foundation, IPC is set to introduce more integrated business solutions, combining reliable products, digital tools, aftersales innovations, and customer-centric services to further support the operational success of Filipino enterprises.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to our customers and partners for their continued trust. As we move forward, Isuzu remains committed to delivering smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable business solutions—helping Filipino businesses grow today and into the future,” Tsukui added.
