Tesla PH Upgrades Model Y Once Again With Bigger Screen, Classier Interior

Fresh from introducing new variants of its Model 3 and Model Y, Tesla Philippines has confirmed that the Model Y EV SUV has been upgraded to reflect its newest global spec.

Applying to all new 2026 orders, the Model Y features an even larger central touchscreen. A new 16-inch screen replaces a 15.4-inch which was made available since the Juniper update last year. Watch our first look. As before, the second-row gets an 8-inch unit too.

Alongside the larger touchscreen, the 2026 Model Y now has a black headliner and pillar trim. This is the same regardless of whether the customer specifies the all-black or black-and-white color scheme.

These subtle changes don’t affect the prices of the Model Y which starts at P 2,369,000 for the Standard Rear-Wheel Drive model. Opting for the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive bumps it up to P 2,594,000, while the Long Range All-Wheel Drive is priced at P 2,749,000. These come with a 1-year complimentary insurance coverage.

As for colors, six colors are available with Pearl White Multi-Coat being the only no-cost option. Diamond Black has P 66,000 premium, while Stealth Gray and Glacier Blue both mean a P 99,000 extra. Quick Silver and Ultra Red command a P 146,000 top up over the sticker price.

The updated Model Y, like all other Tesla models, can take advantage of the Tesla EV charging network which have the lowest EV charging rates in the market. Currently, they have three supercharging stations (with 12 ports in total) and six destination charging stations (with 24 ports in total). This is on top of the Home Charging Program which more than 2,400 Tesla owners currently enjoy.
