Subaru Holds First-Ever Tanabata Festival: Selected Models to Receive Cash Rebates, Financing Schemes

Motor Image Pilipinas, the exclusive distributor of Subaru in the Philippines, will be holding its first-ever Tanabata Festival at its Greenhills and Global City Showrooms from July 19 to July 21, 2013.

The Tanabata Festival or “Meeting of the Seventh” is a Japanese star festival, originating from the Chinese Qixi Festival. It celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively). According to the legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar.

In line with which, "the Tanabata Festival is to show our appreciation to our customers for their continuous support to the Subaru brand. Our business growth for the first 6 months of the year was 87% versus a year ago. Which is a record breaking performance since Motor Image Pilipinas started its operations in the Philippines. We will continue our efforts to make sure that we give  excellent customer service as well as expanding our networks in key cities to reach closer to Subaru fans." according to MIPI General Manager Michael Ramon Luyun.

During this 3 day affair, customers who will drop by the Greenhills and Global City showrooms can expect to receive once in a blue moon cash rebate incentives and financing schemes on all models offered through our bank partners. In addition, to get customers into the festive mood, showrooms will be decorated to pattern the festival in Japan with several food carts present at each showroom offering free authentic Japanese dishes.

Wish upon the stars, and it will come true at Subaru’s Tanabata Festival. This is the rare chance for customers to find and own the perfect Subaru they have been dreaming about. Interested customers may visit the Greenhills and Global City showrooms on July 19 to July 21, 2013 from 9 AM to 8 PM.
