2020 Toyota Supra vs 2019 BMW Z4: By the Numbers
Now that Toyota has finally removed the wraps off the 2020 Supra after what seemed like a ka-zillion years of teasing, comparisons against other sportscars would be inevitable. In this round, we’re comparing the Supra against its sister car, the 2019 BMW Z4. Plus, we’re also throwing a curve ball and mixing in the smaller Toyota 86 and similarly-priced Nissan 370Z NISMO to see how everyone stacks up. Let’s begin.

Review: BMW X1 sDrive18d XLine
You can tell how much a brand values its name by how much thought is put into the details of every product that is produced. Consistency is key, especially when it comes to the standard of quality, starting with design, engineering, and of course, the final make. Not only should the final output look great, the attention to detail regarding construction should be impeccable. This characteristic is what sets BMW apart from other luxury car brands.

Review: 2023 BMW iX3 M Sport
The peculiar thing about EVs is that they tend to look like spaceships. Whether it’s to tout their impressive packaging or to visually communicate them at being at the bleeding edge of tech, they stand out. This is great for some, but for others who don’t want to daily drive something that looks like an extra from Star Trek, thankfully BMW’s come to the rescue with the BMW iX3.

Review: 2011 BMW X6 xDrive35i
BMW’s claim to fame has always been anything sporty. Be it a coupe, convertible or sedan, as long as it carries the famed blue and white propeller upfront, you immediately know it carves curves like no other car could. But what about BMW’s recent product expansion; specifically the likes of the X1, X3 and X5? They certainly sound antithetical to what the brand stands for, especially carrying the moniker: Sport Activity Vehicle. Things become even more confusing with the X6—BMW’s newest niche—the Sport Activity Coupe. It’s an odd prescient for a vehicle that’s essentially a tarted up X5. Beyond the looks which are an acquired taste, does the X6 still have some BMW goodness baked into it?

Review: 2023 BMW M340i xDrive Touring
Before SUVs and crossovers took over the world, if you needed to haul stuff, there were wagons. Thanks to the popularity of cladded up raised passenger cars, wagons or estates (or Touring if you prefer the proper BMW term), are now relegated to a very fringe set of buyers. That’s why it comes as a pleasant surprise that BMW Philippines has decided to bring in not one, not two, but three members of the 3 Series Touring family.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC Isn't Intimidating to Drive At All
P 4.290-million—that’s more money than I’ll make in a lifetime, barring winning the lottery, of course. It’s also the starting price of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC which makes it, to a huge part of the population, ridiculously expensive. Since it’s basically my future retirement fund on wheels, understandably, I had some hesitation of driving it during peak traffic. But you know what I’ve learned? Man, it’s not as intimidating as you think.

Hyundai Elantra, Range Rover Evoque Win North American Car of the Year Honors
You can't start a year brighter than this: winning the North American Car and Truck of the Year. And for 2011, the honor has been bestowed on the Hyundai Elantra and the Range Rover Evoque (coincidentally, will be launched in Manila this Wednesday).
The Hyundai Elantra bested over 30 rivals including the Ford Focus. On the other hand, the Range Rover Evoque had to beat out the likes of the BMW X3 and even the all-new Honda CR-V.
For Hyundai, this is their second North American Car of the Year award. In 2009, the Genesis (the sedan and not the Coupe) trumped the competition. Last year, the Sonata was one of the three finalists. As for Range Rover (and its parent company, Land Rover), this is their first North American Truck of the Year Award.
