Geely PH Launches Virtual Showrooms

As the government puts the country under another round of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) is virtually opening its showrooms to the public. Geely will start rolling out its virtual showrooms with SGAP-owned dealerships such as North Edsa and Makati followed by other dealers soon.

Several NCR+ based auto dealerships have re-opened with a skeletal workforce despite the on-going Enhanced Community Quarantine or ECQ. This is based, they said, on the newest directives issued by the DTI.

In the lead up to the launch of the Toyota GR 86, it was reported that Toyota President Akio Toyoda wasn’t too pleased that his company’s brand-new sportscar because it felt too much like a Subaru. It pissed him so much that he wanted to delay its launch by an entire year to give time for his engineers to dial in more differentiation.

LRT-1 Increases Speed to 60 km/h

The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has secured a safety certification from a reputable international testing facility that the LRT-1 can now lift the restriction of 40 km/h, and safely run at a faster speed.
