Volvo Philippines Hits 20 Percent Sales Increase in 2014; Expects Bigger Year

Volvo Philippines reports a growth of 20 percent in retail sales for 2014 over the previous year. The increase in sales, according to the company, is due to the success of its revitalized XC60, S60, and V40 models. By October 2014, Volvo Philippines has already surpassed its sales volume in 2013 on its way to a 20 percent increase by end-December. This sales growth coincides with the brand’s 20th anniversary in the Philippines.

The Swedish luxury car maker is expecting an even greater growth in 2015 as it reinvigorates the market by introducing unique customer experiences which will set them apart from the other players in the premium automotive segment. With its partners, Volvo aims to reflect the brand’s people-centric orientation and innovative thinking by redefining customer experience in the automotive industry. “We have already started rolling out new and unique customer programs in 2014. Our valued clients and new Volvo owners can definitely look forward to what we have in store for them this coming year” said Volvo Philippines Senior Marketing Manager Mr. Chris Yu.

In addition to this, they are already preparing to launch its new models for the year, including the all-new Volvo XC90, which is expected to come to our shores by mid-2015. The new XC90 has been labelled as the most groundbreaking and luxurious Volvo yet. Powered by Volvo’s revolutionary Drive-E engine technology, and equipped with Volvo’s new Human-Machine Interface, the new XC90 gives us a glimpse of Volvo’s direction in terms of design, luxury and technology. “2015 will be a very significant year for Volvo in the Philippines, and we are proud to represent the brand as it continues to revolutionize the industry with new products and pioneering technology” noted Atty. Albert Arcilla, President of Volvo Philippines.
