GWM overshadowed by BYD
ReplyDeleteGWM mainly focus on selling gas and diesel powered pickup trucks and SUVs in the Philippine market
DeleteIt's not a NEV lineup only like BYD
Local distributor of GWM is a small distributor and don't have Ayala-like gargantuan funds
Not true, gwm main product here before was the jolions/SUV's but it goes into oblivion because of byd. Its pick ups overshadowed even by JMC
DeleteSales of JMC pickups of Astara aren't that high so don't spread fake news
DeleteGWM Philippines started selling vehicles like the Cannon,Jolion and H6 two years ago.
Cannon diesel powered pickup truck,H6 Hybrid and Tank 300 are their best selling vehicles
GWM Philippines isn't interested of going full NEV lineup as there's still demand for diesel and gas powered vehicles
Best selling? 5 units a month? GWM pick ups very UGLY compared to JMC pick ups
DeleteGWM Philippines already sold hundreds of GWM Cannon pickup trucks since 2024
DeleteJMC Grand Avenue is a huge flop as its bare, unrefined and expensive
Astara was forced to sell JMC EVs as JMC Grand Avenue and Vigus are sales flops (sold 20 units last year which is hilarious)
Uly, how many vehicles did GWM Ph sell in 2024?
ReplyDeleteGWM needs to be in PH's top 5-8 Chinese cars otherwise it may not succeed due to lack of top-of-mind recall. None of the GWM sub-brands stand out so far - Ora, Cannon, Tank, Haval. It needs to have vloggers featuring it often before newer brands from other company reach PH shores.
