The 2026 Nissan Triton...errr...Navara Gets A Hardcore Off-Road Treatment

Nissan may just be rebadging the Mitsubishi Triton when it comes to their all-new “D27” Navara, but that’s not stopping Nissan Australia engineering partner, Premcar, from creating something with far more off-road capability.

Shown alongside the regular Navara, this one-of-a-kind concept shows what a more hardcore version of the Nissan Triton…err…Navara could bring to the table.

The Navara Pro-4X Warrior Concept features a comprehensive package consisting of:
  • Lifted suspension system featuring front coil springs and dampers finished in signature lava red
  • Wider track via aftermarket 17-inch wheels for enhanced stability and commanding presence
  • 32.2-inch all-terrain tires providing increased ground clearance and improved off-road capability
  • Suspension tuning optimized for both loaded and unloaded conditions
In addition, there are numerous exterior enhancements too such as:
  • Enhanced bull bar design with body-colored wings and black center section
  • Extended front overriders for improved approach angle protection
  • Unique light bezel incorporating lava red design feature
  • Wing undercovers finished in lava red
  • Integrated fender flare extensions on bull bar
  • Aftermarket driving lamps with lava red accents
  • Multi-stage underbody bash plate system in lava red finish protecting critical driveline components
  • 3,500kg rated towbar
  • Lava red rear recovery points (×2) complementing the existing black factory front points for enhanced recovery capability

The best bit here is that because Premcar has been a long-time partner for Nissan, opting for this treatment will not void the warranty. In fact, they’re matching Nissan’s factory warranty: a 10-year or 300,000-kilometer warranty when serviced at authorized Nissan dealerships.

Another unintended good news here goes to Mitsubishi Triton owners who may now have access to these accessories or modifications designed for the Navara simply because the Navara and the Triton now share the very same underpinnings. Either that, or at the very least, this could serve as a good inspiration of what they can do with their Triton.
