VinFast Philippines is guaranteeing the resale value of its EVs for up to three years with their Residual Value Guarantee (RVG) program.
Under the RVG program, starting November, VinFast Philippines will apply a fixed annual depreciation schedule. After the vehicle is inspected and confirmed to meet eligibility criteria, the maximum guaranteed residual values are set at 90 percent after six months of use, 86 percent after one year, 78 percent after two years, and 70 percent after three years.
VinFast says that this pioneering policy provides customers greater peace of mind when transitioning to electric vehicles, accelerates the broader shift toward green mobility, and reaffirms VinFast’s long-term commitment to the Philippine market.
The RVG Program applies to VinFast’s entire product lineup in the Philippines, from the VF 3 to the VF 9, and is available to new customers. The program is the latest in a series of customer-centric solutions VinFast is implementing in the Philippines to facilitate the transition to electric vehicles. Earlier initiatives include a vehicle warranty of up to 10 years, three years of free charging at stations operated by strategic partner V-Green, flexible financing options, and 24-hour technical support and roadside assistance.

The number of Vinfast dealers in the Philippines increased a lot this year.
Vinfast is a good car. Rode it on the streets of Hanoi it seems fine. However this scheme doesn't make sense financially. I guess the CEO doesn't expect to last that long and let the next boss handle the stress of paying out. Nice job Mr. Zara after Nissan now Vinfast

ReplyDeleteSince VinFast is relatively new, nobody knows for sure about it's resale value yet. Different markets have different value.
ReplyDeleteVinfast Philippines will sell the Vinfast Limo Green MPV which is their answer to BYD eMax 7 EV MPV and Vinfast Minio Green micro EV which is their answer to the Bestune Pony and DFSK Candy in the Philippine market sometime next year.
