Kia Opens Early Reservations For EV5 Compact EV SUV This March 13

Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, is opening early reservations for the Kia EV5 (read our first impressions or watch it on YouTube), its latest compact EV SUV. The latest addition to its  growing electric vehicle line-up will take centerstage at the Alabang Town Center leg of the Kia Movement happening this Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15.

The Kia Movement event offers a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the EV5 firsthand. Designed to bridge the gap between premium innovation and everyday practicality, the EV5 will be available for exclusive test drives throughout the three-day event. This hands-on experience allows interested customers to feel its performance and refined comfort directly on the road.

Positioned competitively within the Compact SUV segment, the EV5 combines advanced technology with a modern and stylish exterior design. Visitors can also explore the EV5’s key highlights. With a driving range of up to 550 kilometers on a full charge and powered by an 88.1 kWh battery, the EV5 is well-suited for both daily commutes and longer journeys. As an electric vehicle, it also offers lower running and maintenance costs, contributing to overall ownership savings.

“The presence of the EV5 preview at Alabang Town Center marks a bold new chapter in our push toward an electrified future, building on the premium innovation established by the EV9,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “It reinforces our commitment to delivering stylish, purposeful, and capable electric vehicles that integrate seamlessly into the Filipino lifestyle.

Beyond the EV5 preview, Kia Philippines is offering exclusive promotions and special deals that create an ideal window for prospective customers. The event features special discounts on the Kia Carnival SX diesel, which currently offers a substantial P 270,000 in savings. Additionally, those interested in eco-friendly performance can also take advantage of a limited-time offer on the 7-seater Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid, with discounts ranging from P 50,000 to 100,000. Complemented by flexible financing options across the entire lineup, these incentives provide a compelling opportunity for anyone looking to drive home a new Kia.

  2. I'll bet they'll bring in the GT trim and price it high. KIA's slogan should be "Our cars are not for sale."
