The UAAGI Auto Group marked a strong participation at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) booking more than 800 reservations across its multi-brand portfolio.
During the 4-day event, the exclusive Philippine distributor of BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Radar managed to secure 803 reservations driven by strong consumer interest in its latest electrified offerings. It is also reflective of a broader shift toward New Energy Vehicles within the local automotive sector.
At MIAS, BAIC launched the B40e Trailmaster rEV, a body-on-frame plug-in hybrid off-roader. Priced at P 2,888,000, it combines strong off-road capability with a powerful, yet efficient PHEV powertrain. It offers over 1,200 kilometers of range (CLTC), front and rear differential locks, and a crawl function to tackle challenging obstacles and terrains.
Chery showcased its Tiggo rEV LE. With 84.28 km/Lge, it has the highest fuel efficiency rating among vehicles that participated at the recent Department of Energy (DOE) fuel economy run. More than just economy, the Tiggo rEV LE is a practical family solution with its 7-seater capacity and P 1,578,000 price tag.
At Foton, the P 2,600,000 Traveller Sierra EV was launched. A 12-seater fully electric passenger van with 181 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque, it’s a thoroughly modern and spacious van that has comfort, space, and sustainability in mind. The 77.28 kWh CATL LFP battery offers up to 303 kilometers of range and can be conveniently charged using the CCS Type 2 charging port. It also has Vehicle to Load (V2L) functionality allowing it to power external devices making it ideal for family trips and outdoor use.
Meanwhile, at Jetour, the T1 Lightning i-DM is fast becoming a compelling alternative to gas- and diesel-powered compact SUVs. It secured the highest number of reservations among all models presented by UAAGI Auto Group. Its plug-in hybrid 1.5-liter turbocharged motor delivers a balance of performance, efficiency, and reduced emissions. Jetour also showed off its new luxury line, Jetour GAIA and the G700 PHEV for P 4,888,000.
At Lynk & Co, the 08 EM-P takes the spotlight as a double Guinness World Record holder (longest hybrid driving range and longest pure electric driving range in a PHEV without charging—1,813 kilometers and 293 kilometers, respectively). The P 2,598,000 5-seater SUV also leaned on its more refined and premium experience.
Finally, the Radar EV Pickup made its anticipated motor show appearance. The RD6 upends the pickup truck segment with its electric power, unibody comfort, and versatile utility. Moreover, it has real-world cost savings for as low as just P 2.64 per kilometer. During MIAS, Radar achieved a strong market debut, gaining solid traction and translating interest into confirmed sales, an encouraging milestone for a brand just six months into the Philippine market.
Supporting the strong momentum from MIAS, UAAGI’s robust nationwide footprint—108 dealerships across its brands—broadens its reach and reinforces its commitment to delivering accessible and future-ready mobility solutions to Filipino customers.
Beyond just sales, UAAGI’s growth is anchored by its commitment to long-term customer trust. UAAGI’s investment in aftersales infrastructure reinforces its promise of reliability. This focus ensures that every customer enjoys the peace of mind that comes with readily available parts and professional maintenance. Central to this strategy is the UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence. As the backbone of the group’s service operations, this dedicated hub located in a two-hectare property in Valenzuela City ensures that evolving vehicle technologies, including electrified systems, are matched by expert hands. By equipping technicians with specialized training, the Center guarantees that every brand under the UAAGI umbrella is supported by consistent, high-level technical expertise.
