Review: 2023 BMW M340i xDrive Touring
Before SUVs and crossovers took over the world, if you needed to haul stuff, there were wagons. Thanks to the popularity of cladded up raised passenger cars, wagons or estates (or Touring if you prefer the proper BMW term), are now relegated to a very fringe set of buyers. That’s why it comes as a pleasant surprise that BMW Philippines has decided to bring in not one, not two, but three members of the 3 Series Touring family.

Review: 2023 BMW iX xDrive40
Different. Unhinged. Ugly. The BMW iX, inside and out, is one of the most polarizing new cars on sale today. It’s the foil to the BMW iX3 M Sport which is luxury EV motoring at its most incognito. This one is what happens when a carmaker decides to flip the script, going for tech above everything else. While their approach is about 95 percent agreeable, the remaining five perfect makes you question whether they should have done something like this in the first place.

Review: 2021 Land Rover Defender S 110 D240 Explorer Pack
Just last week, I got to try out the three-door Land Rover Defender 90—the “smaller” entry-level, albeit more characterful variant of the Defender revival. Now, it’s the turn of its big brother—the five-door Defender 110.

Review: 2021 BMW X7 xDrive30d Pure Excellence
It took BMW some time to come up with their very own ultra-large SUV. While the other members of the so-called German “Big Three” have been pampering wealthy tycoons for quite a while now, BMW only joined the Cristal Champagne chug fest in 2019. But what an arrival it is.

Master and Commander: Driving the 2021 BMW X5 and X7
A few hours aren’t enough to take in the majesty of BMW’s flagship SUVs, or in their parlance, Sport Activity Vehicles—the X5 and the X7. Alas, a few hours are all I had for a quick jaunt from RSA Motors in Quezon City to Tagaytay for a socially-distant lunch. With Bayerische Motoren Werke taking up every X number from 1 to 7, these two may barely raise a remark, but in truth, they are quintessential luxury; luxury that happen to be a good drive too.

Review: 2020 Range Rover Sport PHEV P400e HSE
Let’s get one thing out of the way first: the Range Rover Sport isn’t Land Rover’s flagship SUV. Despite sharing its name as well as a bulging list of standard specs, the Range Rover Sport actually sits below the brand’s real flagship—the simply-named Range Rover. Think XF to the XJ in Jaguar-speak, or the X5 to the X7 in BMW lingo. The confusing naming convention aside, there’s nothing confusing about the Range Rover Sport—this here is one desirable luxury SUV, undeniably comfortable and refined in every aspect.
