Review: 2015-2016 Mazda CX-5 AWD Sport
The first of the full Skyactiv line of vehicles, the Mazda CX-5, first introduced in 2012, is still at the top of its game. It delivers a driver-centric experience without sacrificing practicality and efficiency. It’s a rare breed of car that’s both a personal and popular choice; something the husband and the wife won’t disagree over. Simply put, Mazda didn’t need to revamp it. It’s good as it is and still sells briskly. Except, the Mazda3 happened and since then, the company has had to sprinkle the same sort of updates particularly because the CX-5 commands a price premium over its non-crossover stable mate.

Mazda CX-5 Receives Five-Star Euro NCAP Safety Rating
Mazda’s all-new CX-5, unveiled in the Philippines last April, has been awarded the maximum five-star rating by the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP).
This rating, alongside being named a "Top Safety Pick 2012" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the United States last March, confirms the all-new Mazda CX-5, which employs Mazda's new lightweight, highly rigid SKYACTIV-BODY, as among the safest cars in the world.

Review: 2020 Mazda CX-5 2WD Sport
The Gram Strategy. It’s an engineering belief that making a car lighter makes them fun-to-drive. It’s something commonly associated with Lotus’s Colin Chapman, and more recently, Mazda. And while it’s typically associated with their two-seater MX-5, the Gram Strategy is present in pretty much their entire line-up, including the CX-5.

Review: 2020 Mazda CX-8 Signature 2WD
Mazda has been taking their approach to premium the same way the Germans have: plug very conceivable niche. It may not feel it, but the carmaker actually has five SUVs in its product range—that’s as many as Honda (three) and Subaru (two) combined. And though Toyota has seven, its price spread is rather large—P 3.967 million compared to Mazda’s P 1.65-million. With such a dizzying array of choices crammed into a small price bracket, where does the CX-8 fit into all this?

Is This The Answer To My Mazda CX-5's Battery Woes?
As a motoring journalist, I’m not a shining example when it comes to health. If you want me to come up with high numbers, forget push ups or pull ups; it’s all about weight, blood sugar, or cholesterol instead. With that, I abhor physical tasks, but most especially heavy lifting. This is why I’m irritated each time I have to change the Mazda CX-5’s battery.

Mazda CX-5 Specs Leaked, PHL Launch in April
Thanks to enterprising sales agents, they have revealed at the 2013 Mazda CX-5 will be available in two variants: a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. However, both models will be front-wheel drive. The price for the CX-5 M/T is pegged at P 1,392,000 and P 1,452,000 for the A/T.
The asking price may be hefty, but the CX-5 is the first Mazda vehicle to fully incorporate the new SkyActiv-G technology which boasts excellent fuel efficiency without sacrificing driving fun and dynamics. In the CX-5, a 2.0-liter version of the SkyActiv-G will be used which is good for 155 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque.
Aside from SkyActiv-G, the 2013 CX-5 will come fully loaded including auto on/off HID headlamps, LED tail lamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, leather seating, automatic climate control, an integrated audio system with USB and Bluetooth hands-free as well as 6 speakers. In safety, the CX-5 will come with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist, traction control and stability control.

Is The 2022 Mazda CX-5 Hiding An Improved All-Wheel Drive System?
Apparently, one of the biggest changes to the 2022 Mazda CX-5 is something that you don’t see. While Mazda’s compact SUV does get reasonably visible aesthetic changes to its exterior and added equipment to its interior, the carmaker also used this opportunity to modify its platform and even all-wheel drive system.

5 Things You May Have Missed About The Mazda CX-8
It comes as a surprise to many that Pickup-based Passenger Vehicles or PPVs are now getting quite expensive. Although they’re loaded with more features than ever, near top-of-the-line variants have crossed well into the P 2-million mark. With that in mind, more choices open up, including those that weren’t originally within reach of those looking for a family-oriented SUV.

First Drive: 2020 Mazda CX-8 2.5 Skyactiv-G AWD
The story of the CX-8 is a rather unremarkable one. Mazda once had an MPV, the Mazda8, which was actually marketed with the tagline, “the idea of a sportscar – inherited by a minivan.” It was, in every sense of the word, a mom mobile that that very tagline was delivered by a middle-aged woman in Japan. But as the company shifted its attention to all things KODO and Skyactiv, they found themselves with an opportunity: should they make something pleasing to soccer moms or should they make a three-row SUV? Focused group studies and likely, simpler engineering costs dictated the latter, and thus, the CX-8 was born.
