Honda Cars Philippines has revealed the refreshed City sub-compact sedan. Carrying aesthetic changes, enhanced connectivity, and cutting-edge safety features, it moves the goal post by which all other small sedans will be measured against.
The new City now packs Honda Sensing, Honda’s suite of advanced driver assistance systems or ADAS, as standard. This unlocks seven functionalities, some of which are unique in its segment:
Further cementing its positioning as a tech-laden sub-compact, the City now comes with a 4.2-inch full-color TFT multi-information display that sandwiches the analog speedometer and tachometer, and a one-push start system. There’s also an improved infotainment system too. The 8-inch touchscreen audio system now packs wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (except for the 1.5 E CVT). There are also improved cabin materials with the City RS swapping out the high-gloss piano black for sportier bright-red accents.

Speaking of the 1.5 E CVT, this additional variant takes over from the previous MT base model. Aside from its simplified infotainment system and fewer USB inputs and grab rails, it’s further differentiated by its 15-inch steelies and the lack of an exterior trunk lid switch.
Regardless of variant, the new City has been tweaked with a new grille and bumpers (front and back). It also comes with new colors as well:

ReplyDeleteAgain with the blamd and dull black interior, I was expecting it to get the beige treatment similar to the indian model. What is it with these car manufacturers are their obsession with the choice of the same type of black interior
