No surprises there: Kia Philippines served as the official mobility partner of a recent Ayala athletics event.
Kia Philippines, which is itself a subsidiary of Ayala Corporation’s ACMobility, provided support as the official mobility partner at the first-ever Atletang Ayala World Pole Vault Challenge at the Ayala Triangle Gardens.
The event brought Olympic standout EJ Obiena and top international pole vaulters for two days of elite competition.
The event featured the National Pole Vault Competition, a public Meet & Greet, and the World Pole Vault Challenge, culminating in an awarding ceremony and celebration dinner. Kia supported the event by providing vehicles for athlete transport reflecting the brand’s commitment to “Movement that Inspires” and hinting at an exciting upcoming collaboration with Obiena.
Atletang Ayala supports Filipino athletes who are aspiring to qualify for the 2028 Olympics, while also opening opportunities for them to build professional careers in the Ayala group of companies.
Athletes who are part of the program receive benefits including fixed funds for joining international training camps and competitions; full-salaried employment with flexible work arrangements; Healthway Medical Network’s Athletes’ Health program; free access to the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub; and arrangements for continuing education at De La Salle University.

I'm gonna nitpick a bit about that particular EV9 in the photo. The headlights look different, wasn't it supposed to be vertical illumination?
ReplyDeleteThose are horizontal
Partly true. The vertically-oriented headlights would be the more premium headlights with what Kia calls "advanced optical technology." The one in the photo would be the "base" projector design.
Deleteoh, weird that they have a unit of that here, in their website only the vertical LED's are advertised
DeleteSame. Unless they changed the spec come the second batch of units or something.
