Fuel Autotek Philippines Brings in MOMO, Deestone Tires

There are two new tire brands in town. Fuel Autotek AU, Australia’s leading provider of alloy wheels, tires, and automotive accessories enters the country through its subsidiary, Fuel Autotek Sales, Inc. Also known as Fuel Autotek Philippines, the Philippine subsidiary will be carrying a range of tire brands such as MOMO Tires from Italy, Deestone Tires of Thailand, as well as other truck and bus tire brands.

Fuel Autotek’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Enzo Mastroianni said: “We are thrilled to bring to the Philippines an exciting tire brand from MOMO Italy, which after 50 years of leading the global automotive and motorsports market with high-performance steering wheels, road wheels, and racing accessories, has launched MOMO Tires which offers a full range of products for passenger cars, vans, and SUVs.”

With over 50 years of experience in the automotive market, MOMO entered into the passenger tire market through an official and exclusive license agreement with Univergomma Spa. Launched in 2012 in Europe, MOMO Tires is a 100 percent Italian brand with tires engineered and tested in Europe. Currently, they are manufactured in factories in Europe and China.

Mastroianni added: “We are also bringing into the market, Deestone Tires, which is Thailand’s largest and well-respected local tire manufacturer. We are proud to offer Deestone’s full range of quality tire products which range from truck, bus, agricultural, industrial, passenger car, light truck, and off-road SUV tires.”

Established 28 years ago, Deestone is the largest Thai tire brand that produces 100,000 tons annually. Currently, 50 percent of their sales are exported around the world including markets such as the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and many more.

Currently, Fuel Autotek Philippines is working out details of its launch program as well as the visibility of its dealership coverage. Mr. Kevin Buenaseda, Marketing Manager of Fuel Autotek Philippines commented: “We are pleased with this development and are currently working out the details for the brand launch in the second quarter of this year.”

Fuel Autotek Philippines has already set-up its dealer network through months of preparation so their primary focus has now shifted to boost the visibility of their brands, especially in key cities around the country. The company is planning a full brand launch at the Manila International Auto Show 2017 which will start on March 30, 2017.

Although a dealer network has already been established, Fuel Autotek Philippines is still actively searching for qualified dealers.

Fuel Autotek’s exclusive distributorship agreement with MOMO Tires Italy will bring premium-branded tires at a competitive price point, especially as replacement to OE (Original Equipment) tires. Meanwhile, Deestone Tires from Thailand will cater to the everyday motorist, leveraging the brand’s expansive product portfolio.

Other brands carried by Fuel Autotek Philippines are Roadwing truck and bus tires from China which it also distributes nationwide as well as Kaizen truck and bus tires from India which is currently distributed in the Visayas and Mindanao region.
