Honda Cars Philippines Adds 3 New Variants to Civic Line-Up

Honda Cars Philippines is slowly re-aligning its Civic compact sedan to have more salient features which buyers are increasing looking out for. For the 2015 model year, Honda is bringing the Civic’s total variant range to six in either 1.8- or 2.0-liter displacements. And for the first-time ever (since the FD), it will be available with a 5-speed manual transmission box for the entry-level 1.8 S variant.

In terms of exterior, nothing much has changed with the 2015 Civic although both the mid-range 1.8 E variant and 2.0 EL are available sans body kit. The removal of the Modulo and MUGEN body kits bring down the 1.8 E’s price to P 1,078,000 while the new 2.0 EL checks in at a more respectable P 1,258,000.

It does seem pricey, but the Civic does have more stuff for the 2015 model year. Selected models now get the convenience of a Smart Entry & Push Start system as well as the 7-inch touch screen display. Selected Civic models use the 7-inch display for the multi-view reverse camera as well.

The 2015 Honda Civic is now available at all authorized dealerships nationwide.

2015 Honda Civic Line-Up:
  • 1.8 S M/T - P 948,000 (new)
  • 1.8 S A/T - P 988,000
  • 1.8 E A/T - P 1,078,000 (new)
  • 1.8 E Modulo A/T - P 1,138,000
  • 2.0 EL A/T - P 1,258,000 (new)
  • 2.0 EL MUGEN A/T - P 1,388,000

  1. Sa wakas, nagbigay na rin ng non mugen option ang honda. Nakikinig pala sila. Hahaha. I wish they would also bring the CVT transmission here just like those from the US.

    1. LOL CVT? Get a manual dude. Puro na lang autotragic ang Civic dito, kaya di na bumebenta. Yeah the autotragic car may have all the options you probably don't need but the manual is more fun to drive.

    2. Not everyone wants a manual. Malay mo, di lang pala isang tao ang gagamit at merong di marunong ng manual na hihiram. CVT is a better transmission than the old 5-speed automatic, look it up.

  2. Manual pre, nka modulo...swabe
