Another historic moment for Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC) was forged recently as the exclusive distributor of Kia Motors vehicles in the Philippines signed a multi-year agreement with the Araneta Group to build the new Kia Theater, formerly known as New Frontier Theater.

The soon-to-open 2,385-capacity theater will bear Kia Motors’ exclusive naming rights.

A spacious 305.96 square meter Kia showroom will also have a full display of the Korean auto giant’s stylish vehicles when the Kia Theater opens its doors to the public this September.

Present at the signing ceremony held last July 15 were Palawan Governor and CAC Chairman, Hon. Jose Ch. Alvarez; CAC President, Ginia R. Domingo; Chairman, CEO, and President of the Araneta Group, Jorge L. Araneta; and Management Consultant for Araneta Center, Inc., J. Rowell L. Recinto.

After the signing, Ms. Domingo expressed excitement over Kia’s new and exciting venture with the Araneta Group.

The newly-minted Kia Theater will be equipped with state-of-the-art audio, visual, and lighting technologies making it a prime entertainment venue in the Metro. The modern theater will also feature al-fresco dining, cafés, other popular retail brands along its perimeter, completing its claim as the choice go-to entertainment venue.
