BMW Teases All-New 2023 7 Series Luxury Sedan

A few weeks before its world premiere, BMW showed off a teaser of its flagship sedan, the all-new 7 Series.

BMW says the 7 Series focuses on modern luxury with a “unique interior experience consisting of digital features and exclusive materials.” It will also spawn the BMW i7—the first all-electric luxury sedan in the world with a total driving range of about 600 kilometers.

Before the global reveal, however, it’s quite clear that BMW is sticking with its large fused double-kidney “lung” now illuminated for all to see. Moreover, it has “upper lighting elements made of exclusive crystal glass” which could indicate a split headlight design for the all-new 7 Series.

Inside, BMW says the all-new 7 Series will feature BMW Curved Display as well as the BMW Interaction Bar which not only serves as ambient lighting but will have integrated control buttons with both visual and haptic feedback. In addition, the newly-developed Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof adds to the feeling of spaciousness, modernity, and well-being that prevails in the interior of the new BMW 7 Series with LED light threads that can be individually adjusted.

At the back, the BMW Theater Screen, which moves out of the roof liner, is an ultra-wide screen with a 31-inch screen with a 32:9 panoramic display format that can stream in 8K. It transforms the rear seats into an exclusive, private cinema lounge where passengers can select their personal entertainment program.
