Lucena City Is The Location Of Mitsubishi Motors PH's 64th Dealership

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) inaugurates its 64th outlet in the country at Lucena. The capital city of the province of Quezon also becomes the newest home of Mizukuwa Motors Corp. (MZM) apart from Banaba South, Batangas and Anabu Imus, Cavite. Situated at the Diversion Road, Pan-Philippine Highway at Ilayang Dupay, the facility has a land area of 4,000 square meters with three display vehicles and ten service bays.

Present in the inauguration event were executives from MMPC, led by Mr. Takeshi Hara, President and CEO, as well as from the MZM group, headed by Mr. Paolo Borromeo, President, and Mr. Frank Eizmendi, Chairman of the Board. Also in attendance was the honorable Mayor Mark Alcala who expressed his delight that the presence of the brand in this area in the CALABARZON region is a welcome sight in the municipality’s budding automotive business.

“Lately, I have actually been visiting showrooms and mall displays to meet and speak to customers. Hearing their voices and learning the culture have further inspired me to bring the Mitsubishi Motors brand closer to even more Filipinos and make their lives better,” according to Mr. Takeshi Hara. “So it is with much excitement that not only do we get to continue this fruitful partnership with MZM, but also finally have the opportunity to reach locals here in this part of South Luzon. As we formally open our doors to the people of Lucena, they can expect a wonderful car life journey with us starting from our quality products all the way through our excellent customer-oriented services.”

Geographically, Lucena is known to be the “Cocopalm City of the South” due to its expanse of coconut lands and mills. It is also notable for being a site of major factories and distribution hubs among international fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and liquor distilleries. A few car assembly plants and dealerships as well as commercial and business enterprises are also steadily being established in response to the growing population of its suburban barangays.

Mr. Paolo Borromeo recognizes this and addresses residents, “Come and visit our newest dealership to see up close and test drive the latest Mitsubishi models, including the New Xpander. Our well-equipped sales team will be happy to help you find the right vehicle for both your wants and needs along with suitable purchase options. Equally, our fully trained service and parts team is ready to keep your brand new or existing Mitsubishi in tip-top condition from your routine periodic maintenance, other general jobs and collision repairs. We value your peace of mind and want protect you and your loved ones.”

  2. The Borromeo Motoring Group is slowly building up their Mitsubishi dealer network, perhaps their foray into Mitsubishi dealerships is paying off handsomely for them. After all, Mitsubishi consistently moves more units than Ford and Mazda combined.
