Chery PH Boosts Warranty Coverage On Tiggo 8 Pro

Chery Auto’s Philippine distributor, United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) is expanding the coverage of its industry-leading warranty for its Tiggo 8 Pro flagship SUV.

While other Tiggo models such as the Tiggo 2, Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 5X, Tiggo 7 Pro, and Tiggo 8 are covered by a 5-year / 150,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper general warranty and a 10-year / 1-million-kilometer engine warranty, the Tiggo 8 Pro goes further.

The mid-sized 7-seater flagship SUV now has a general warranty that stretches to a 7-year or 200,000 kilometer (including the engine) coverage. For first-time electrified vehicle owners, the Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV’s lithium-ion battery system has an 8-year / 150,000-kilometer warranty.

The extended warranty coverage is on top of the Chery Premium Preserv’s 3-year free preventive maintenance service (PMS) and free 3-year roadside assistance package.

“World-class quality and reliability are standard in every Chery. It is a testament to our confidence in our vehicles that we can offer such a long warranty period. Customers can look forward to an absolutely worry-free ownership experience with their new Chery,” says UAAGI President Erroll E. Dueñas.

The Chery Premium Preserv is available at all of the brand’s 21 authorized dealerships nationwide.

  1. This is confusing to me. So a Tiggo 8 Pro comes with 7 yrs/200KM vehicle warranty but battery is 8 yrs/150KM and engine is 10 Yrs/1M-KM plus 3 Yrs PMS and 3 Yrs Road Side Assistance?

    1. Tiggo 8 PRO has the following warranty:
      7-year bumper-to-bumper (including engine)
      8-year battery warranty
      3-year PMS
      3-year roadside assistance

The 10-year / 1-m warranty applies to the other Tiggo models and not the Tiggo8 Pro.

  6. Warranty booklet shows only a few engine parts as covered for 7 years. Chery will not answer questions about whether anything else is covered. Some bumper to bumper warranty!
