Another dump of old stocks
ReplyDeletePHP 2.1 mil a bit of a stretch for what is essentially a stretched Sealion 5. Sana around PHP 1.7 mil lang.
ReplyDeleteMalabong mangyari yan unless they remove the ADAS of it.
DeletePricey, another looser. Options include cherry tiggo phev, jetour phev 7seaters.
ReplyDeletei hope they will launch BYD Tang L soon.
ReplyDeleteanyone knows what is BYD Super DM-i? I know it is their PHEV marketing name, but want to understand how it works.
ReplyDeleteGood competitive pricing for the BYD Tang PHEV
ReplyDeleteP500k for two more seats vs Sealion 6? The math ain't mathing. Whoever those two additional people are who will ride with me can take the taxi, van or bus. Even if I pay their fare, it wouldn't come close to costing half a mil over the time owning an SL6.
ReplyDeleteChery Tiggo REV = P1.648M less whatever cash discount the Sales Executive might give.
ReplyDeleteJetour X7 Lightning DM-I = Promo price of P1.498M started 2 days ago.
Both 7-Seaters with the REV having a slightly roomier 3rd row seat.
Competition is good for the consumer!
Correction -
DeleteChery Tiggo REV LE price just dropped to P1.528M. Although the interior is less classy compared to the Tiggo 8 series, it now has HUD.
Unless I'm mistaken it also has a Driver's Seat Memory feature, and Driver's Seat Lumbar Support (adjustable).

Wading depth of only 187mm for the Tang DMI as against 500mm for the Tiggo REV LE (200mm ground clearance). Very important during the flood prone rainy season.
ReplyDeleteTang DMI has no HUD, Driver's Seat Memory/Lumbar Support whereas the Tiggo REV LE has all these. Tiggo REV LE feels (subjective) more aggressive when accelerating on the move in all 3 driving modes.
Tang DMI has slightly more passenger/cargo room and a softer (subjective) ride with a full passenger load than the Tigoo REV LE.
Both have adequate AC cooling , and LiFePO4 batteries. Tang DMI is supposed to have 110Km pure EV range with a 21.5Kw capacity battery while the Tiggo REV Le is supposed to have 130Km pure EV range on a 18.66Kw capacity battery. Hybrid system efficiency factor or exaggerated claims.
BYD posts that the Sealion 6 to have a pure EV range of 105Km though I only get an average of 75Km pure EV range in my Sealion 6 in city driving. as the Sealion 6's ICE turns on at 25% SOC.
SRP of Tiggo REV LE is P1.528M, while the SRP of the Tang DMI is P2.098M.
Tiggo REV LE appears to be P550K less expensive than the Tang DMI.
Game over Tang DMI.
