Top 5 Picks for 2020
With pandemic-related community quarantine measures in place since March, one would think that choices for this year’s Top 5 Picks would be slim. Thankfully, that’s not the case. All in all, we managed to test 41 vehicles this year. While this number is slightly down from 2019’s 50, it’s still a sizeable number given we need to trim down the list to just five.

I'm Not Digging the 2020 Toyota Supra (w/ 21 Photos)
So the world gets an all-new Toyota Supra. Yay. Hurray. Nothing to see here, so move along. After countless concept cars, teases, spy shots, unintentional reveals, and all—I’m pretty underwhelmed at the final result. Sure, some of us will get a kick out of some 1990s nostalgia, but that’s all the all-new Supra really is: nostalgia. It’s the JDM New Beetle, honestly.

The 2020 Nissan GT-R NISMO Pushes the Performance Envelope Even More (w/ 11 Photos)
Nissan isn’t just going for a bit of nostalgia at the New York International Auto Show with its heritage-inspired 370Z 50th Anniversary and GT-R 50th Anniversary models, but they’re actually pushing the performance envelope even more. Case in point is the 2020 GT-R NISMO—which is the closest you can get to a road legal GT3 race car.

Review: 2012 Toyota 86 Aero
Thumbs-up,
catcalls, whistles, and snaps from cell phone cameras—this is what it’s like to
drive the all-new Toyota 86 on public roads. No other car that I’ve driven,
including other two-door sports cars twice or even quadruple the price gets and
attracts as much attention as this. And this is just the first hour of a
five-day love affair with Toyota’s dreamy coupe. Forget twisty mountain roads
or race tracks, we all know how the 86 can easily beat the best of them, so you
won’t hear any of that here. The mission here is to find out if the 86 is as
good as any Toyota as a daily driver.

2023 Mazda MX-5 RF: Long-Term Test Introduction
Remember that owner who gave me access to a 2023 Snowflake White Mazda MX-5 RF late last year? You know, the one with the Terracota interior? Well, I’ve got a confession to make: I’m that bastard. At the time, I felt prudent not to announce it all over the internet primarily because there was a supply shortage of MX-5s. But now that supplies have stabilized (more or less) and wait lists have shortened (more or less), it’s time for me to discuss ownership of the two-seater sportscar.

13 Cars to Watch Out For in 2019
The Philippine automotive industry is seeking to rebound after the government’s implementation of TRAIN caused a derailment to growth in 2018. Collectively, carmakers are predicting a 10 to 15 percent rise in sales. While the growth will still be fueled mostly by attractive financing schemes, the bullish car industry is looking forward to new products to help spur this rebound.
