The Hyundai Accent Now Starts at Just P 630k

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines want you to join the thousands who already swear by the Accent sub-compact sedan’s performance and fuel efficiency with its enticing price that starts at just P 630,000 for a limited time.

On-going until January 15, 2021, the Hyundai MerrygaLOW Christmas promo slashes the Accent’s prices by as much as P 160,000:
  • Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL MT w/o SRS – P 790,000 (P 630,000 discounted price)
  • Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL AT w/o SRS – P 838,000 (P 698,000 discounted price)
  • Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL MT w/ SRS – P 838,000 (P 678,000 discounted price)
  • Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL AT w/ SRS – P 890,000 (P 750,000 discount price)
  • Hyundai Accent 1.6 CRDi GL MT – P 910,000 (P 750,000 discounted price)
  • Hyundai Accent 1.6 CRDi GL AT – P 1,038,000 (P 898,000 discounted price)
Better yet, these cash discounts can be applied to financing (50 percent downpayment, 60-month term). If that is not to your liking, you can drive home with no downpayment and a monthly payment of just P 16,116 (for a 60-month term).

The Accent is the sub-compact sedan class’s only CRDi-powered variant. This particular variant comes in both 6-speed manual or automatic transmission variants, powered by a 128 horsepower, 260 Nm of torque 1.6-liter engine. For those who want something more affordable, it’s also available with a 100 horsepower, 132 Nm of torque 1.4-liter MPI gasoline variant.

Based on Hyundai’s internal tests, the Accent can go up to 29.4 km/L on a single liter—that’s like driving the whole stretch of EDSA from SM Mall of Asia to the Bonifacio Monument with still six kilometers to spare.

  2. If I'm not mistaken, there are only 3 sedans that are manufactured locally: Toyota Vios, Mirage G4, and Hyundai Accent. I am all-in for Filipino support for these models. However, I have some gripes: Toyota should provide back-up cameras and parking sensors for all Vios variants, Mitsubishi should provide the G4 with all safety features present in the Vios (more airbags, etc), and Hyundai should stop manufacturing Accent cars with no airbags (should not be an option, come on, airbags should be present in all vehicles). Comparing all three of them in their current state and pricing, I'll still go with the Vios - Mark J
