No New Products For Jaguar Until 2025?

Say it isn’t so. French news site Le Monde reports that Jaguar might be going into a period of “hibernation” as they prepare to put their Reimagine electrification strategy. This could mean no new products for the premium British brand until 2025.

According to the report, Jaguar will not be launching any new products in the next four years, relying instead on restyling and refreshes. They are also set to reduce the number of engine choices and equipment until their switch to being 100 percent electric by 2025.

For now, there will be planned closure of production plans, although the manufacturer is set to downsize its workforce from 42,000 to 35,000 employees while also trying to reduce its costs

Under the Reimagine plan, Land Rover will still offer combustion engine vehicles, albeit electrified. However, a pure EV Land Rover model will join the line-up in 2024.

Currently, only the Jaguar I-PACE (see lead photo) is the brand’s pure electric vehicle.
