The all-new Toyota Camry will be making its global debut this November. Toyota’s next-generation executive sedan is expected to gain a completely redesigned exterior and interior, as well as more powerful hybrid powertrain.
Toyota has kept most details surrounding the Camry secret, but they did release this official teaser photo as well as a more shadowy full frontal shot of what seems to show off its new front design.
The official teaser photo shows a part of the all-new Camry trunk lid. Here, a horizontal piece of trim that spells out “CAMRY” is visible along with slimmer taillights. Moreover, the badges confirm two things: one, it’ll be available with all-wheel drive and second, the said all-wheel drive variant is a hybrid.
Currently, the Camry is available in both all-wheel drive and hybrid, but they can’t be speced together. Now, however, it’s possible and this points to the possibility of it getting the flagship Crown’s two-motor 239-horsepower 2.5-liter hybrid engine with the E-Four all-wheel drive system.
It’ll likely continue riding on the TNGA-K platform, the same one that underpins the current Camry, but expect it to be extensively reworked for improved ride and comfort.
As for styling, it’ll likely gain the same corporate design cues introduced in the Crown and Prius. These include the hammerhead shark motif and the C-shaped daytime running lights.
Toyota will probably reveal more details about the all-new Camry in the coming days. For sure, the curtains come off on November 14 in the United States.

DeleteAs a former Camry 3.5 V6 owner, 239 hp is still weak especially for an AWD drivetrain. Hope Toyota can still tweak it a bit & extract a little more power.

DeleteCamry used. To be popular in the Philippines but since SUVs have taken over, have seen less and less Camry on the road.
