Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) strengthened its role as a key partner in the national transport and logistics sector with the turnover of a major fleet of Hino 300 Series light-duty trucks at a logistics hub in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The fleet was sold and delivered through Hino Pasig, the authorized Hino dealership that facilitated the transaction and supported the deployment to meet the rapidly growing operational requirements of one of the country’s leading e-commerce logistics providers.
E-commerce logistics in the Philippines operates at a pace shaped by mega sales, same-day delivery commitments, and strict service-level targets across hundreds of routes each day.
The Hino 300 Series is engineered for these pressures and is designed to deliver consistent performance in sorting centers, line-haul hubs, and last-mile operations.
The delivery is part of Hino’s national campaign, “Built for the Long Haul: Pangmatagalan, Hindi Pansamantala.” This highlights Hino’s ongoing commitment to long-term fleet durability, minimized operational downtime, and long-term cost efficiency for logistics partners.
Two flagship models were turned over during the ceremony. Each unit was selected based on the specific needs for nationwide cargo movement.
Recognized as the top choice in Hino’s Light-Duty lineup, the Hino 300 Series 616 model is considered as the gold standard for 6-wheeler logistics in the Philippines. The model is purpose-built for operations that require consistent performance under long hours and unpredictable peak-season spikes. It delivers a high-output engine capable of heavy-duty transport cycles, delivering a Maximum Output of 156 horsepower at 2,500 rpm and reliable control on climbs and rough roads with 430 Nm at 1,400 to 2,500 rpm Maximum Torque, and a robust 4.49-ton Gross Vehicle Weight with 1.5-ton Payload Capacity that’s ideal for efficient bulk cargo movement.
The 4-wheeler Hino 300 414i is optimized for high-frequency distribution. This model supports the company’s fast-paced fulfillment cycles where flexibility and speed are essential. Key features include a high-powered engine with a maximum engine output of 136 horsepower at 2,500 rpm for daily multi-stop delivery routes and a compact, efficient footprint with an overall width of 1,715 mm for maneuvering in dense city routes and busy loading areas.
“Built for the Long Haul” represents more than a durable chassis. It reflects Hino’s Total Support philosophy, designed to keep every truck on the road and every operation running smoothly. This fleet of new Hino trucks will be serviced under a Service Level Agreement (SLA), ensuring maintenance is prioritized and downtime is minimized. Supported by Hino’s nationwide dealer network which provides expert service, reliable parts, and preventive maintenance solutions, the system showcases the dealers’ capability to manage large, demanding fleets, and deliver seamless support for high-volume transport and e-commerce logistics operations. With this comprehensive network, even peak-season operations remain uninterrupted, efficient, and fully optimized.
While the Hino 300 Series 616 model stands out as the preferred unit for large-scale logistics, Hino offers a wider range of models to support businesses of all sizes.
From small-scale urban deliveries to nationwide distribution networks, Hino offers a solution that fits every business model. With in-house manufacturing at Hino Motors Philippines, truck bodies can be customized from scratch to meet specific operational requirements, making Hino a true one-stop-shop for businesses seeking fully tailored transport solutions.
