Ford Philippines captured two significant milestones in its product line-up with the Ford Everest and the Ford Mustang as they both secured the top positions in terms of sales their respective categories last 2025.
Based on the full-year records of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI), the Everest is the best-selling 4x4 mid-sized SUV, while the Mustang is the best-selling sports car.
The Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x4 was the best-selling 4x4 Mid-size Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in 2025, capturing a 40 percent market share of the segment.
The Everest blends adventure-ready capability with exceptional comfort and customer-focused technology.
With the Ford Everest’s terrain management system, drivers are given command of six on- and off-road drive modes to help master every terrain. The Drive Mode Selector provides drivers with an easy way to shift drive modes easily, while the E-Shifter brings a new level of high-tech control with optimized performance for different surfaces, road conditions, and vehicle usage.
The Ford Everest comes loaded with new and enhanced driver assist technologies and safety features that are designed to take the stress out of driving and help drivers remain focused. These technologies include seven airbags standard across all variants, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go and Lane Centering, Lane Keeping System with Road Edge Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Evasive Steer Assist and Reverse Brake Assist.
From the same CAMPI data, the Ford Mustang was 2025’s best-selling sportscar, capturing a 32 percent market share.
Ford Philippines launched in 2024 the seventh-generation Mustang in two variants: the 2.3-liter EcoBoost Premium Fastback and the 5.0-liter GT Premium Fastback.
Long associated with speed and power, the Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback variant comes with a 493 horsepower, 567 Nm 5.0-liter V8 mated to a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the EcoBoost offers 319 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque from its turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine also mated to a 10-speed automatic.
New for 2026, the Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost now comes with the MagneRide damping system. Previously exclusive to the GT Premium variant, it continuously adjusts the ride characteristics of the Mustang by using magnetorheological (MR) fluid located inside the shock absorbers. What’s more, unlike traditional adaptive dampers, MagneRide uses no small moving parts or complex valves, reducing potential wear.
“We are deeply honored by the trust our customers have placed in us, catapulting both the Ford Everest and the Ford Mustang to the top of their respective segments,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines. “This achievement is a direct reflection of the passion our owners have for these iconic nameplates. Whether it’s conquering rugged terrain in an Everest or experiencing the soul-stirring performance of a Mustang, our customers are the heartbeat of everything we do. We thank them for their incredible loyalty and for inspiring us to keep pushing the boundaries of innovation, capability, and driving excitement.”
