Organizers of the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) says that the event will proceed as scheduled from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12, 2026, amid the current global energy crisis and economic uncertainty.
In a statement, Worldbex Services International says:MIAS 2026 will focus on solutions-oriented mobility—highlighting innovations that address efficiency, sustainability, and accessibility. The event aims to support both the industry and consumers by showcasing technologies and vehicles that respond to today’s realities.
With 25 brands participating in MIAS 2026, the event will go beyond showcasing the latest car models. It will highlight the evolving landscape of mobility, including a strong focus on new energy vehicles, EVs, and electrified automotive technologies, the introduction of sustainable mobility solutions and responsible transport innovations, and EV charging products and services.
This year, MIAS will also debut the Overland Experience Grounds Concept, promoting sustainable outdoor lifestyles, off-the-grid camping, and local travel and an expanded truck pavilion which will also feature new energy commercial transport solutions.
“We understand the concerns many are facing today,” said Ms. Jill Ang, Managing Director of Worldbex Services International, the organizers of MIAS. “MIAS 2026 is being positioned not as a celebration detached from reality, but as a relevant and responsible platform that highlights how the automotive sector can adapt and contribute during challenging times.”
