The Michelin Primacy 5 Energy and the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Energy combine low rolling resistance with strong grip, extended longevity, and precise handling.

Available in 16 to 19-inch sizes, the Michelin Primacy 5 Energy nets an “A rating” when it comes to rolling resistance enabling it to provide up to 6 percent lower fuel consumption in combustion or hybrid vehicles, or up to 10 percent more range in battery electric vehicles.

In addition, the Primacy 5 Energy delivers 8 percent shorter wet braking distance, both when new and worn to 2 mm tread depth. Meanwhile, thanks to “Energy Passive 2.0 Technology” that incorporates functionalized elastomers, new resins, and an optimized architecture, it can last up to 40 percent longer than its competitors.

Meanwhile, the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Energy delivers dynamic handling characteristics, while still offering energy-focused technologies.

The Energy Passive compound reduces rolling resistance (also A rated in rolling resistance) to unprecedented levels in a sport tire, while also outperforming its competitors in longevity tests. The MaxTouch Technology, on the other hand, optimizes contact patch ensuring even wear.

Developed with Michelin’s motorsport expertise, Dynamic Response Technology and a new Adaptive Grip Compound deliver precise handling and superior grip in both wet and dry conditions.

In fact, its capabilities were tested to the extreme where it maintained a constant 300 km/h for almost eight days fitted on a Mercedes AMG GT Concept XX. This confirms its exceptional endurance and energy efficiency.
