McLaren to End Production of Sports Series by End of This Year




McLaren is officially ending the production of its much-vaunted Sports Series range by the end of this year. The Sport Series was first introduced in 2015 with the 570S and will culminate in the limited-run GT4-inspired 620R. Don’t fret though, because at the same time, McLaren has announced its replacement: the series-production High-Performance Hybrid (HPH).

McLaren is Now Restoring Its Iconic F1 Supercar


The McLaren F1 is still considered by many as the hypercar of its day. Built between 1993 to 1998, it held the title as the world’s fastest car for 7 years. In fact, its 386 km/h top-speed still puts as one of the fastest cars available today. In total, only 106 McLaren F1s were built (64 road cars and 28 GTR race cars) and now, McLaren has announced that they can offer a full restoration on each one of them.

McLaren Reunites with Honda Starting 2015


McLaren is delighted to confirm that it will form a new multi-year Formula 1 technology partnership with Honda.

From the start of the 2015 season, McLaren's Formula 1 cars will race using Honda engines and energy recovery systems, renewing an association that became one of the most successful and powerful in Formula 1 history during the 1980s and ’90s.
