The 2026 Philippine National Rally Championship will kick off on March 27 to 28 with its opening round returning to the island of Lubang in Occidental Mindoro, following the successful staging of the event there last year.

Here Are The Perks You Get When You Buy A Toyota BEV

Toyota Motor Philippines is offering several ownership incentives for people to switch to one of their Battery Electric Vehicles. Available for both the bZ4X and the newly-launched Urban Cruiser, the country’s best-selling vehicle brand is bundling free charging solutions and lowered cost of maintenance.

VinFast has announced an extension its free charging policy for owners in three Asian markets: India, Indonesia, and the Philippines through to March 31, 2029. With the zero fuel-cost advantage for three years, consumers will have greater incentives to switch to electric vehicles, reduce dependence on gasoline, and contribute to a sustainable green environment in the international markets where VinFast operates.

It is a historic comeback for Honda Cars Pampanga as they reclaimed the coveted Honda 2025 Dealer of the Year (DOYA) award 10 years since they held the honor. Their return to the top reflects a relentless commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency.

Bosch is celebrating their 100th year in the Philippines this year. They also made it the right time to launch Bosch Lubricants. It has three main segments for gasoline vehicles, diesel vehicles, and motorcycles as well. Bosch is banking on their high standards and their products ratings as their main advantage over the competition.

To say that the Japanese love curry is an understatement. They consume so much of the stuff be it at restaurants, at home, or heck, via vendo machines, that it could be arguably called a national dish. The thing is, it didn’t originate from there, but from India. Only, it’s been changed and adopted so much to suit the Japanese palette that it doesn’t look, taste, or smell anything like the OG. It’s these adaptations that the Toyota Urban Cruiser could very well need.

It has finally happened. After both Thailand and Malaysia gained access to the refreshed Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport, Toyota Motor Philippines has done the same.

February 2026 New Car Sales Drop 8.5 Percent Year-On-Year

There are plenty of jokes thrown the Toyota RAV4’s way for the past two generations or so. Chief among them is the lack of an all-wheel drive drivetrain even as an option. It’s ironic for a vehicle whose name is an abbreviation for, “Recreational Active Vehicle with 4-wheel Drive.” This is something Toyota has rectified with the arrival of the sixth-generation model. The return of all-wheel drive as standard issue is the final piece of the product puzzle—the two others being a competitive price tag and an electrified powertrain—making the RAV4 a complete compact SUV. Now, the joke is on the competition.

Filipinos Look At Cars For Their Practicality, Not Emotional Value

Traffic worsening around commercial or business districts? Parking becoming much more of a hassle in those areas? A new study commissioned by Inchcape could hold the answer why.

The first time MG brought the HS nameplate to the Philippine market, it was a neatly styled, competent, but hard to love compact SUV. Apart from its budget conscious pricing, it didn’t offer much in terms of emotional appeal. For its second coming, the brand turned to a brand-new platform and incorporated a full hybrid powertrain from the get-go. Though not exactly transformative, these developments have managed to close the gap dynamically and tech-wise, while keeping the HS’s value-oriented positioning.

In the 1980s, there was supposed to be a one-time exploration of the Amazon jungle to promote a cigarette brand. It gave birth to a global off-roading competition that was held across the world including Siberia, Borneo, Mongolia, and more. It became iconic with its participants’ use of Land Rover Defenders.

The Geely Okavango just can’t catch a break. After having its 5-star safety rating revoked by the ASEAN NCAP, the Department of Energy (DOE) did just the same with its hybrid electric vehicle designation.

The Toyota RAV4 isn’t the only electrified SUV that Toyota Motor Philippines is launching this March 17. For those who’re ready to go fully electric, the Urban Cruiser EV joins the bZ4X as the brand’s second battery electric vehicle.
