The Base GLX Variant Makes The Mitsubishi Xforce Finally Worth It
When Mitsubishi first launched the Xforce, I was skeptical; it almost seemed like the brand was out of touch. Here was an established carmaker that thought that launching a crossover at a price point of P 1.3 million (GLS) up to almost P 1.7 million (GT) without any hybrid options was a good idea. It would have been okay had it been at least powered by a reasonably powerful engine, but no, it was equipped with the same engine from the Xpander.

Review: 2026 Hyundai Creta N Line 1.5T DCT
The Hyundai Creta N Line came with a warning label. In memory, this is the first car I’ve tested that came with one. It wasn’t a label about just how cool looking this new compact crossover was or anything like that; it was about potential transmission overheating issues and how to deal with it. Although I found the label tucked away in the spare tire compartment, its layout suggests it was attached to the gear lever at delivery. Foreboding, isn’t it?

The Mitsubishi XFORCE Gets Approval With Its Perfect Balance
Don’t fix what’s not broken. It’s a common quote that should be heard more by politicians with their road projects but in the case of car brands, they see it as a challenge. Leaving things as is will lead to stagnation and so they improve their offerings, despite being already good.

Review: 2026 BYD Sealion 5 DM-i
There’s no doubt about it: BYD nailed the compact SUV formula with the Sealion 6. Though BYD likes to call itself an “electric car brand,” there’s no question that it’s their plug-in hybrids—DM-i in official parlance—helped drive sales. Since the Chinese brand isn’t exactly transparent when it comes to their sales, anecdotally, the colony of Sealion 6s occupying EV chargers on a daily basis shows you exactly how they’ve managed to upend the industry.
