Cutting to the chase—just how affordable are we thinking about? How about P 1.788-million? The Lynk & Co 02 E SUV comes in four colors—Grid Grey, Crystal White, Palace Beige, and Cosmic Blue.

Riding on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), the same bones used by the Zeekr X and Volvo EX30, the 02 E SUV does have its own unique sense of style. Upfront, it has the Dynamic Day Rays DRLs, while at the back are the Megacity Horizon taillamps that also happen to act as the rear spoiler. Other key design features include the frameless door windows and a front trunk.

Inside, the 02 E SUV maximizes overall space thanks to a compact flat-bottomed steering wheel. A center LCD display, measuring 15.4 inches and sporting a 2.5K resolution dominates the interior. Complementing it is a “Infinity Light” ambient lighting.

Measuring in at 4,460 mm in length, 1,845 mm in width, and 1,573 mm in height, the 02 E SUV sports a 2,755 mm wheelbase. This allows it to accommodate a 66-kWh lithium-ion battery underneath giving it a 435-kilometer WLTP range. The battery can be topped up either using an AC charging (up to 11 kW) or DC charging (up to 150 kW).

The rear-mounted, rear-motor permanent synchronous motor offers 272 horsepower (200 kW) and 343 Nm. With a single-speed automatic, it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. Handling duties are handled by all-around independent suspension, ventilated disc brakes, and 19-inch wheels with 235/50R19 tires.

The 02 E SUV comes with a full suite of airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, and 16 ADAS features. This is thanks to 12 ultrasonic radars, five cameras, and five millimeter wave radars.
