Mitsubishi Motors PH Posts Second Consecutive Year Of Record Sales

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines posted record retail sales of 91,639 vehicles in the Philippines in fiscal year (FY) 2024 (April 2024 to March 2025)—an increase of 12 percent from the previous fiscal year.

The Japanese carmaker’s stellar performance marks the second consecutive year in which it has broken past sales records.

According to Mitsubishi Motors, the sales of the Xpander, Mirage G4, and L300 helped boost their sales. The impact of the newly-launched Xforce was also felt. Amid the expanding automotive market in the Philippines, Mitsubishi still accounted for 19.5 percent of the market share, an increase of one point from the previous year.

“Mitsubishi Motors has contributed to the auto market and economy in the Philippines for more than 60 years,” said Tatsuo Nakamura, executive vice president of Mitsubishi Motors. “Through the years, we have earned the solid trust of our customers by introducing strategic vehicles to the ASEAN market and developing dealership networks with high brand loyalty. This fiscal year, we will be launching the production model of the Mitsubishi DST Concept, which premiered in the Philippines last year. We aim to enhance our presence in the ASEAN market and to further expand sales in the Philippines which is a key market.”

The Mitsubishi DST Concept is a three-row compact SUV which will likely be based off the Xforce. Once it reaches showrooms, it will probably take on the name Destinator.

    1. No need to do that as It'll make it more expensive and bare

  2. Triton not doing so well? It is probably the most competent and only decent product that MMPC sells but is ruined by its hideous looks.

  3. But once Xpander or XForce goes locally manufactured, it may become PH's next dinosaur brand new model in the likes of L300 from the late 80's.
