2026 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Arrives With Added Style, Safety For P 793K

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines launches the new 2026 Mirage G4. The best-selling sub-compact sedan gains added style, safety, and convenience features, leveling up the mobility enabler for plenty of Filipinos.

Still proudly made in the Philippines, the 2026 Mirage G4 builds on the 2022 update with new LED projector headlamps, LED taillights, and two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels. This complements the Dynamic Shield Design front end and sporty rear bumper with a built-in diffuser.

The most important update is what you don’t see. For 2026, Mitsubishi has improved the safety performance of the Mirage G4 by adding standard Active Stability Control (ASC) with Hill Start Assist (HAS) for all variants. This is on top of the dual SRS airbags and ABS with EBD.

Inside, the 2026 Mirage G4 has upped its convenience features. Available for the top-of-the-line GLS variant are features such as Keyless Operation System (KOS), a Remote Key with Trunk Opener, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that also doubles as a back-up monitor.

As always, the Mirage G4 has class-above interior room with ample head, shoulder, and leg room for both front and rear occupants as well as a generous 450-liter trunk space.

Powering the Mirage G4 remains the tried-and-tested 1.2-liter MIVEC 3-cylinder engine. It offers 78 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Available transmissions are a 5-speed manual or CVT.

The 2026 Mirage G4 comes in four exterior colors: Titanium Gray Metallic, Red Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic, and White Solid (order basis). It comes in two variants, GLX and GLS, at the following prices:
  • Mirage G4 GLX 1.2 MT – P 793,000
  • Mirage G4 GLX 1.2 CVT – P 841,000
  • Mirage G4 GLS 1.2 CVT – P 937,000

  1. My 2014 Mir HB was 620k. Had all the bells and whistles as the '25
Except for the All LED lighting and remote back door opening. is the almost 300k after a decade worth it?

It has best in class FC of real world 20-21 kms/li that puts other mild hybrid to shame.
And a very cheap PMS cost.

    :-)

    1. Two total different products and segments
Many Filipinos are still gonna buy and drive the Mirage G4 Sedan as it's bigger, more fuel efficient, more refined and much safer now

  4. That's why they didn't bring out the fully equipped model when it was facelifted before. In order to introduce the equipment as "new features" after a few years locally and then say it is an upgrade and jack up the prices. After 3 years (believe me, the Mirage will still be in production by that time locally), they will finally introduce ADAS and call it "new" even thought this is old technology already and present in overseas model for a long time.

    1. MMPC won't sell the Mirage G4 Sedan with ADAS
Next major update of it in 3 to 4 years time are change the steering wheel, dashboard, instrument cluster and grille which MMPC can afford to do

    1. stability control should be standard already at least :/

    2. Adding stability control would increase it's price which MMPC won't do.
Get the GLS variant if you want those features

    3. Again you open your mouth too fast neo rgame, read and understand the article, very clearly stated active stability control is standard for all variants. Stop spreading fake news here

    4. I'm talking about the Montero Sport GLX 4X2 without stability control and not the Mirage G4 Sedan 🤣
MMPC and Mitsubishi Motors Thailand won't stability control to the Montero Sport GLX as it'll become more expensive

    6. Stability Control should one of the first safety systems especially for a car its size should have, even before ADAS, kasama niyan usually yung ABS and EBD. If they want to keep the price, remove some "okay lang tanggalin" na features like cruise control and keyless entry

    7. Walang cruise control nor keyless entry ang Montero Sport GLX 4X2 M/T

    8. yes it does, naka include sa key features in their website

They could have done a better job.

Mirage G4 will continue to sell locally as long as the market patronizes it. Let's expect more facelifts in the future. It is a major product for Mitsu PH. Although I read before, the volume produced locally does not meet its CARS program quota. Elsewhere, this nameplate has been killed off due to lackluster performance. The G4 may just be another 1-gen product. The future looks bleak for the G4. It is expensive for Mitsu to introduce a new generation. The sedan market is dying. Competition is strong on all fronts. Does it have a donor car from Nissan or Renault for re-badge? If not, it is end of the road for the car. Let's buy this while we can.

    1. well they did rebadge the Clio for Europe, but different segment na yun. Nissan has the March/Micra but confirmed na rin yung switch to Renault 5 platform sa future model. So no, there's no donor car from both its partners.

Maybe from FoxTronn or a Chinese EV car?

    3. Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam still produces and sells Mirage G4 Sedan units in their country
MMPC plans to regularly update the Mirage G4 Sedan every 3 years..They won't kill it as it's the 2nd best selling vehicle in their lineup

    4. Thailand and Philippines nalang ata assembles both Mirages, Vietnam only assembles the Outlander and Xpander. Pero I would agree, malakas pa ang Mirage here in Asia so it would a disaster for Mitsubishi to discontinue the model
