BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, continues to lead the country’s EV movement with the opening of six new dealerships located in Bacoor (Cavite), Sta. Rosa (Laguna), Subic (Zambales), and Cebu. Located in key growth areas, the ongoing expansion brings not just BYD’s new energy vehicles and aftersales support, but also a widened charging infrastructure to more Filipino motorists eager to shift towards electric mobility.
“BYD’s continuous and rapid expansion across the Philippines signifies the brand’s commitment to providing more Filipinos easier access to groundbreaking New Energy Vehicles and services,” said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines. “With the support of ACMobility’s growing nationwide EV charging infrastructure, we are on track to bring innovation and share the cost-saving benefits of sustainable mobility nationwide,” adds Palanca.
Eager to establish a strong foothold on key growth centers at the outskirts of Metro Manila, BYD Cars Philippines has partnered with various dealers to create a prominent presence for the BYD brand in the countryside.
In Cavite, BYD Bacoor features a 6-car showroom with a V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) display, a café-style lounge, a 10-bay workshop, 5 EV chargers, and 20 parking slots. It is the fourth BYD dealership operated by Iconic Dealership Inc., ACMobility’s retail arm.
Further south of Metro Manila, BYD Sta. Rosa serves CALABARZON with a 10-car showroom, eight work bays, and a relaxing lounge for its customers. The dealership’s EV charging setup includes three 30kW DC chargers and four 7kW AC units.
To cater to customers from the provinces of Zambales and Bataan, BYD Subic, run by the Harmony Auto Group Philippines, spans 1,754 square meters and features a 9-car showroom, a VIP room, LED displays, and six service bays. Along with various customer amenities, it also houses five 7kW AC chargers and will soon operate a 30 kW DC charger for public use.
Currently, the largest BYD showroom in the country, with a floor area of 7,246 square meters, BYD Cebu Central anchors the brand’s Visayas presence with a 12-car showroom, 14 service bays, a BYD Café, and shuttle services for its customers. Located in the North Reclamation Area, BYD Cebu Central also has a floor dedicated to body repair and paint services.
The dealership also supports ACMobility’s Charge Forward initiative, a program that aims to deploy over 700 electric vehicle charging points nationwide by 2025, with its three 7kW AC and one 30kW DC chargers. This investment in infrastructure is key to enabling EV adoption, ensuring that customers across the Philippines have the confidence to shift to cleaner and smarter mobility.
Two more Cebu showroom facilities—BYD Ayala Cebu and BYD Il Corso, a lifestyle-focused EV hub—enhance the BYD brand's reach in the island province. Aside from the BYD vehicles on display at both locations, two 22kW AC chargers at BYD Ayala Cebu and four 7kW AC chargers at BYD Il Corso have been installed by ACMobility for more convenient EV charging. Another 30 kW DC charger will likewise go online soon at BYD Il Corso.
Construction is also underway at BYD Cebu South, further expanding coverage in the island province and providing access to innovative NEVs, charging facilities, and electric vehicle technology for more Cebuanos and customers in Central Luzon.
“These dealership launches are only the beginning,” shared Adam Hu, BYD Philippines Country Head. “With 77 BYD showrooms and service facilities rolling out in 2025, we’re building a robust ecosystem together with ACMobility for long-term growth, sustainability, and leadership in EV adoption nationwide, further reinforcing our stature as the Global #1 New Energy Vehicle brand.”
Akala ko AC mobility na mag put up lahat byd dealerships. From byd to AC profit mark up, from AC to another dealerships company another profit mark up.
ReplyDeletethey need these partnerships, I think it would be too capital heavy for the main company to do all these expansions by itself, let alone 6 in a single month in 4 different places
DeleteAre those dealerships 4s? If not what is the point of buying a car that a dealership cannot fix
ReplyDeleteBawat dealership may service bays (it's in the article). If yung question is about spare parts availability then give it maybe another 6 months to 1 year and see if owners start making noise/complaints kasi most of their units were sold around/after the second half of last year. If it goes on for longer and tahimik parin then either there are plenty of spare parts available or the cars end up not needing as much parts replacement (or a combination of both).
DeleteAre you sure about that? If that is so, then that is very questionable.
DeleteElectric cars are prone to catch fire while moving, parked in your garage, more so in an accident. When your car starts to smoke, pray that your car doors does not lock up and cannot be opened lest you get cremated inside.
ReplyDeleteAbsurd, please read further than the tip of your nose
DeleteBest advice to yourself, you probably just read what is being spoon fed to you. Heard about the Xiaomi SU7 accident resulting in the deaths of three female university students- The incident occurred on March 29, 2025, at 10:44 PM on the Dezhou-Shangrao Highway in Anhui Province, China. Initial reports on Chinese social media claimed the vehicle caught fire after a collision, with allegations that the “doors could not be unlocked, preventing escape.” Heard about Cargo Ship Carrying Chinese EVs, Hybrids Burns In The Middle Of The Pacific Ocean that burned 3048 vehicles including the cargo ship which is also posted in this website on June 9, 2025? Additionally, when an EV burns, it does so for longer and the fire gets hotter. This is just some of the incidents, there are many more. The comment is meant to inform, present the adverse side and warn would be buyers of the inherent risks of EVs so they could decide intelligently, but in the end its your call, your money and life at stake, just don't complain you have not been forewarned.
DeleteI can give you far more examples of ICE vehicles catching fire with one recent local example on the news yesterday.
DeleteI won’t complain even if I get charred alive. Stop it with your Messiah Complex.
DeleteI wouldn't wish it on anyone, life is precious. Just the same, enjoy your EV.
