    1. Song Pro is available for export markets since last year that's why BYD Philippines chose it to be rebadged as Sealion 5 PHEV
The real Sealion 5 PHEV isn't available for export markets yet

    2. Selling off old inventory first, zero mileage used car in BYD China. BYD China has reduced prices of their cars 35% across all models in China.

There's no Chinese language badges on BYD vehicles sold in Asian,European,Latin American and Middle Eastern countries.
BYD produces and sells vehicles for export markets with totally different specifications

    6. SongPro is still on production, not a phaseout model, may be Philippines import an older version (ongoing production 2024 model) not 2025 facelift para mas lower cost to make it lower price to benefits the consumer.
Byd car is high advance car, even its old version is far more advance than those 2025 japanese car specification of the same category in Philippines.

    7. High tech doesnt mean high quality and reliability though. They are cheap for a reason, either it is subsidized and/or cutting corners

    8. Definitely Subsidized and according to great wall chairman cutting corners and faking sales.

    9. BYD PHEV are way more advanced, much safer and more reliable than DNGA Yaris Cross and Nissan Kicks e-Power

    10. BYD cars burning EVs in china, airbags not deployed during crash, very thin crash bars, cars disintegrate into millions of pieces during crashes, not using high tensile strength steel on frames, vibrating steering wheel on new cars, premature rusting on underside, very thin paintjob etc. not having recall doesnt mean quality either, it means they dont care and just hide the issue.

  5. BYD: Awesome battery tech and ultra efficient hybrid system. Horrible driving dynamics.

    2. it's not old inventory, but brand new stock, Byd in China is very much demanding and selling like hot cake, Many of it dealers have to wait it pending replenish orders.

    3. ACMobility the Byd car Philippines is not a ukay-ukay company, they will import new stock brandnew car.

    4. China is very advance in technology and manufacturing cars, if you see its cars, you will be "WOW" how nice their cars was.

    1. yes, a brandnew stock zero mileage (little mile for checklist), AC mobility will not sell zero mileage old car (a reset to zero mile 2nd hand cars) to destroy their reputations.

    2. AC already destroyed its reputation the way it handles VW ph.

  8. It’s not just zero mileage cars, with the stiff competition in china, it’s race to the bottom affecting car quality just to save cost. Numerous reports on BYD having A-pillars torn off, airbags not deployed, self conflagerating EVs, flimsy crash bars.

    1. This is previous version of 2025 new facelift sealion 05 for export, take note 2025 sealion 5 new facelift kalalabas pa lang for market selling this year sa China, not yet available for export and maybe will not export it, coz some Chinese cars chose model for export and for domestic market, this version sealion 5 as of now is available not only in Philippines, but also in other countries outside China.

  9. This is an old model. Not the current sealion 5. Zero mileage cars dumped in the Philippines. China got angry with byd tactics that is why old model appears on our shore. China is going after those zero mileage cars so byd sends them abroad

    1. zero mileage car category have new car or a 2nd cars. in China there had cases that some dealer have dumped brand new zero mileage (a new car) in 2nd hand car market at very low profit margin to add their sale, this was complain by other dealer, and prompt the gov't to investige it.

  11. AC first passenger car VW had very poor handling, may be they learned this now.
VW selling point is being German brand, but the cars is not as good as many China cars or Japs cars have, that why it had low sales.
