Review: 2001 BMW 523i vs Honda Accord VTi-L
We know what’s circulating in your minds: here’s another crazy match up between a BMW and a Honda—an uneven match-up, much like letting Mike Tyson go against Yukozuna. On paper, there’s actually nothing the same with the Honda Accord and the BMW 523i: the German is rear-wheel drive, powered by an inline-6 and costs three million bucks. On the other hand, the Accord is the typical exec-sedan of choice offering front-wheel drive, powered by an inline-4 and priced at half of the Bimmer’s list price.

Goodyear Launches New Eagle F1 Range
Photos by Ulysses Ang |
Ever since we were young, the Goodyear Eagle F1 has always been synonymous with ultra-high performance vehicles, requiring the very pinnacle of tire technology. Cars such as the Chevrolet Corvette, Ford GT and even the McLaren F1 have all made the Eagle F1 as their O.E. or Original Equipment tire of choice. Drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher have won championships on cars with nothing less than Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. It comes as no surprise that it’s won numerous awards across the globe including six in Asia during the past two years alone.

13 Cars to Watch Out For in 2019
The Philippine automotive industry is seeking to rebound after the government’s implementation of TRAIN caused a derailment to growth in 2018. Collectively, carmakers are predicting a 10 to 15 percent rise in sales. While the growth will still be fueled mostly by attractive financing schemes, the bullish car industry is looking forward to new products to help spur this rebound.

Review: 2012 Toyota 86 Aero
Thumbs-up,
catcalls, whistles, and snaps from cell phone cameras—this is what it’s like to
drive the all-new Toyota 86 on public roads. No other car that I’ve driven,
including other two-door sports cars twice or even quadruple the price gets and
attracts as much attention as this. And this is just the first hour of a
five-day love affair with Toyota’s dreamy coupe. Forget twisty mountain roads
or race tracks, we all know how the 86 can easily beat the best of them, so you
won’t hear any of that here. The mission here is to find out if the 86 is as
good as any Toyota as a daily driver.

Spending 2 Hours in a Casa Could One Day Save Your Life
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, there’s a massive recall concerning defective Takata airbags. Supposed to save lives in the event of a devastating crash, these airbags could become potential grenades since their uncontrolled explosion could send shrapnel into the face of a vehicle’s occupants.
